Azurea offers six beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a private en-suite bathroom, providing comfort and privacy for every guest. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Each bedroom has one queen-sized bed and is equipped with air conditioning, blackout curtains, closets, and an ensuite bathroom. GETTING AROUND & PARKING Azurea is the perfect base camp to explore all that Puerto Rico has to offer. The property includes parking for up to three (3) cars. LOCATION Azurea is located in Ocean Park, Puerto Rico. This is considered a prime location in San Juan. From Azurea, you are a 2-minute walk away from the sand and within walking distance to some of the best dining options Puerto Rico has to offer. Forget the rental car because from here, you can walk or Uber to everything! The house is approx. 10 minutes from the airport, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops all within walking distance. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas; here are some of our favorites: Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you are staying at Azurea. The house has beach chairs, towels, and a cooler for a long day at the beach. Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant which offers local cuisine with a modern approach and is in La Placita. Explore Calle Loiza, which is blocks from the apartment. This up and coming hip street is littered with funky dining and shopping options. Start off with a margarita at Acapulco and head down the strip stopping at Sabrina or Azucena for sophisticated Puerto Rican food. Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship. We can help coordinate tours to this destination. Spend a day in Old San Juan. Azurea is a 10 min Uber ride from the oldest city in all the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food, drinks, and shopping to enjoy! STARTER AMENITIES At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay. All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 pool/beach towel per guest. We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include: - 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom) - 3 garbage bags - 1 roll of paper towels - 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom) - 1 dish soap - 1 dish sponge Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay. HOUSE RULES RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed. NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated. NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors. UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. Casa Salinas is a fresh and spacious oceanfront home in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. This contemporary waterfront home can sleep up to 14 guests in 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. You and your group will love the amazing ocean views, private saltwater pool, and direct access to Bahía Salinas. The decor is "beachy," and there is plenty of space for large groups to gather and enjoy the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Other highlights include a charcoal grill, exposed concrete details, AC in all bedrooms, ample parking, and washer and dryer. ACCESS TO THE BAY: Casa Salinas offers direct access to Bahía Salinas. The bay has a sandy shore but once you enter the water the sea bed becomes muddy. The shore is perfect for sunbathing but if you want to go for a swim or wade in the water we recommend you drive 5 minutes to Playa Sucia which has a sandy bottom. ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES 🪜 STAIR ACCESS ONLY: The entrance to the home is located on the second level and is accessible via stairs only. 🌿 NATURAL SETTING: This property is located within the Cabo Rojo National Refuge, home to diverse ecosystems including hypersaline lagoons, mangrove forests, and subtropical forests. You may notice the natural scent of the lagoons in the neighborhood, a small reminder of the rich wildlife around you. Insects are also present, providing vital food for over 78 endangered bird species. 🌐 INTERNET CONNECTION: We provide satellite internet, which works well for basic communication (email, messaging). Please note that it’s not high-speed broadband and may not support streaming services. 🎥 SECURITY CAMERAS: For your safety and peace of mind, there are four exterior security cameras installed on the property. Some of our favorites include: Annie’s Place, Los Remos, Buena Vibra and El Varadero. Take a morning/afternoon walk on the sandy area behind the house. Bahía Salinas is not suitable for swimming, as mentioned earlier in the listing. Cross the street and visit the famous “Las Salinas” or The Salt Flats, which are one of the best and most visually interesting natural treasures in Puerto Rico. The flats are modified for the production of salt. Relax in the most popular beaches in the area. Some of our favorites include: Combate Beach, El Balneario de Boquerón Beach, and Buyé Beach. Rent Jet Skis at Boquerón Aquamarine Adventures. This is about 20 minutes away. Visit the town center of Boquerón. We have room for a maximum of 3 cars to park. Our villa is in the middle of the beach area. The weekend nights can be loud. You will have the opportunity for 15 second dance parties as vehicles may cruise by playing music. The villa is directly on the beach. You will have beach goers right in front of the villa on the public beach. Enjoy the activity on the beach on the weekends and the quiet during the week. We are on a public beach and care should be taken to secure valuables and pay attention to your surroundings. All beaches on the island are public and belong to the people of Puerto Rico. This is a bright two-bedroom, three-bathroom, ocean view apartment. It has great, comfortable furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, an ocean view balcony, in-unit washer and dryer, and an elevator. There is a common pool which is beachfront. This complex is located on a great quiet where it’s not unusual to see wild horses, and in a quiet area of Rio Grande, not far from the El Yunque Rainforest and the SJU airport. The property is quiet and fairly secluded despite its convenient location. You even have to watch out for potential cows on the road at night! It’s the perfect place to start your day whether heading to attractions on the east side or metro area. Just a short drive from popular attractions to the east, like El Yunque rain forest National Park, Luquillo Beach and the neighboring food kiosks, Fajardo bioluminescent bay, boat/catamaran tours to the Fajardo keys for snorkeling or beach time; or head west to visit El Morro Fort, the Bacardi Rum factory, or Old San Juan for a stroll down the many pedestrian streets lined with shops and restaurants; Casa Cortés is a special treat.  Closer to the property are dozens of eateries and supermarkets, as well as an Outlet Mall with the Sector Sixty6 entertainment complex on site, featuring bowling, an arcade, go-cart racing, and a ropes course.
