Just a 10-minute drive away, El Campello boasts an animated seafront with a long sandy beach and calm, blue waters. Wander along the shoreline, dip in the sea, or head to the port and enjoy a delicious plate of fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants. The neighbouring Playa de Mutxavista sprawls along the coast, with a palm-lined promenade tucked to the rear of the sand. From here, you can walk for several kilometres before joining a path leading out to the Cap de l’Horta lighthouse, where you will be rewarded with magnificent views stretching to the north and south. Alicante can be reached in less than 30 minutes, where the lively town has something for everyone. Stroll through the Parque de la Ereta and stop by the Santa Bárbara Castle to admire the 19th-century construction built over what was once an ancient Arabic fortress. The castle occupies a strategic viewpoint atop a hill, with a beautiful panorama out over the coastline, and a cafe awaits with a refreshing drink.
