Generally, all you need is close by and primarily within walking distance. So what are you looking for in your trip? Two National Parks embed the village; De Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen. So besides strolling on the beach, those are two significant areas to walk or cycle. There’s so much more you can do! For instance, mountain biking around the race track, learning how to wave- or kitesurf, and you can even get your PADI. Did you know that Zandvoort also has a nude beach as well? We also have a great race track called "Circuit Park Zandvoort" (1.2 km), Owned by a member of the Dutch Royal family. They organize many activities and festivities there, like DTM and Historic Grand Prix. Maybe you want to get your race license? Last but not least, from Zandvoort you can quickly get to Amsterdam by public transport, which allows you to combine an exciting city trip with a relaxing getaway next to the beach. Space Welcome to Wijkiki Beach House, a warm and inviting 90m² home in the heart of Wijk aan Zee, just a short walk from the North Sea coast. The open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen flow naturally into each other, with large windows looking out over the village meadow. It feels light, spacious, and genuinely lived-in the kind of place you settle into straight away. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms, a bathroom with both a shower and a bath overlooking the meadow, and a separate toilet. The main bedroom has a spacious double bed (180x200) and the second has two single beds (80x200). The kitchen is a proper cook’s kitchen, with two combi-ovens and a large stove with a wok burner. Plenty of room to put together a real meal after a long day at the beach. Travelling with children? The house comes fully equipped for little ones: toys, two travel cots, a Stokke high chair, and safety gates at the stairs. Your four-legged travel companion is welcome too. Dogs are free to enjoy the open-plan kitchen and living area downstairs. We just ask that they are not left alone in the house and stay off the upstairs bedrooms.
