Villa Vanaki has an amazing open floor plan and huge sliding windows that open almost entirely to the outdoor area. You’ll feel a sense of being outdoor while indoor in order to full enjoy the tropical lifestyle. For sleeping, Villa Vanaki is composed of 4 bedrooms, 2 on the ground floor, 2 on the 1st floor and 2 and 1/2 bathrooms all located on the ground floor. One of the upstairs bedroom is only accessible through a staircase located in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor so in order to go up to that bedroom, you have to go through the bedroom on the ground floor. We especially appreciated the water activities that were provided by the hosts and made possible by the boat slip on the property. There are kayaks , paddle boats, life jackets, water shoes, and snorkel sets, all of which had various sizes for each item. Having all of this made it so easy to get out on the water in a few minutes. The house is a short kayaking trip to one of the best places to snorkel on the island, which made it even better! The middle of the three fare on the beach, and the twin of Fare Tiare beside it. The bedroom holds a queen bed on a memory-foam mattress; the living room next to it has a sofa bed that opens for two more, so a couple can have a room to sleep in and a room to sit in rather than one room doing both. A large bay window frames the lagoon. The kitchen is fully equipped: gas hob and extractor, microwave, coffee maker, rice cooker, blender. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Air conditioning throughout, and mosquito screens on the windows. Outside, a wooden deck with a table, and then the sand. The evening is what this fare is for. The jacuzzi sits on the beach a short walk away, heated and open to guests, and the sun goes down over the water in front of it. Eight sun loungers are set out along the beach, and the light on the reef at that hour is the reason people come back. Fare Taina and Fare Tiare are identical and adjacent. Booked together they sleep eight across two separate fare. We run the property ourselves, so there is always someone to ask. Breakfast in the morning, a briefing before you take a kayak out, a restaurant table booked, a tour or a taxi arranged, the ferry sorted. Beyond that we stay out of your way. If you would like to talk on the terrace in the evening we are glad to, and if you would rather not see anyone, that is just as easy. Shoes come off at the door. Smoking is outdoors only. If you are planning a wedding or a celebration, talk to us first and we will help you organise it; please do not book for an event without arranging it with us in advance. We live surrounded by nature, so you will meet some of it. One island dog lives here with us. Roosters and chickens are not ours and do not live on the property, though you will hear them now and then, as you will anywhere on Moorea. The lizard is a sacred symbol of the island, and is what its name means, so we watch them rather than chase them away. Being close to the forest, an insect finds its way in from time to time despite regular treatment. Please do not feed the animals. Rent a car. It is the honest answer for Moorea: the beaches, the restaurants and the viewpoints are spread right around the island, and there is free parking for you inside the property. Rental desks are at the airport and beside the ferry terminal. A scooter costs less and works well if you are travelling light. If you would rather not drive, a tour operator can plan each day and collect you here. Tell us and we will put you in touch. Fare Makana is a Balinese-style wooden house located in a gated neighborhood on the northern coast of Moorea Island, French Polynesia. This holiday home in Moorea is only at few steps of a beautiful white sand beach with shallow clear waters lagoon. The beach is accessible thanks to a path situated right in front of the property. The property features 2 bedrooms and 1 mezzanine (all with double beds + air conditionning). There are two bathrooms. There is also a living room with a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a terrace. From the ferry docks it will take you about 25 min by car to reach the property situated on the western coast of the Island. Oramarama Villa  is one of the most comfortable and fully furnished properties in Moorea Island. It is located in the heart of the most famous bay in French polynesia, Cook’s bay. Cook’s bay is known for its natural beauty and surrounding majesteous peaks. From the terrace of Villa Oramarama you can see on your right in the middle of Cook’s bay the spectacular Mouaputa peak. The mountain is famous for having a hole right through the summit. The legends says that the hole was formed when the demi-god Pai tossed his magic spear from Tahiti to prevent Rotui (mountain) from being carried off to the island of Raiatea by the god of thieves known as Hiro. What we like the most is the direct access to the lagoon and the jacuzzi right in the tropical and well planted garden facing the lagoon and magical mountains. Guests can easily go for a swim thanks to the stairs at the dock. This lovely holiday home is located in Papetoai, on the northwest coast of Moorea Island, and only 1 km from the Intercontinental resort and close to the Holy Délices restaurant. In a peaceful setting, nestled at the end of a gated residential neighborhood, the vacation rental, Villa Vaihau, is facing the blue lagoon. On the ground floor, the villa Vaihau features 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with double bed and their own bathrooms. These bedrooms are adjacent/connected and to access the living room from the first bedroom, you can either cross the 2nd bedroom, or walk by the terrace. The bedrooms are also equipped with a safe to secure your personal belongings. The main living room consists on a small kitchenette with a dining table opening onto to a opened wooden terrace. The 3rd bathroom is located at the rear of the kitchen and features a sink, shower and wc. A central staircase leads to a ventilated mezzanine with two single beds which can accommodate 2 additional persons. The Villa Coco Lagoon is located in a large private property in a quiet location on the seaside in Punaauia at pk18.3, just after the largest white sand beach PK18, Vaiava beach, on the west coast of the island of Tahiti. This charming vacation rental was completely renovated and updated in December 2022. It has kept the assets of the old Polynesian houses which express their character and the art of conviviality by the size of the living spaces and the presence of colorful local art deco. Indeed, many sculptures, tikis, tifaifais (patchwork of colored fabrics) and paintings adorn the villa and give it a singular and authentic Polynesian soul that will immerse you in the atmosphere of our islands. The villa of nearly 160 square meters of living space overlooks the lagoon. It includes a very large living room of nearly 90 square meters with a high ceiling and a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table and a lounge area. This central living room is the heart of the villa, no doubt you will spend most of your time there. Two terraces adjoin this space to better appreciate the outdoors and the spectacular view of the lagoon and the island of Moorea. One of the terraces is covered and sheltered, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors in all weathers, and the other terrace is shaded because it is pleasantly situated under a magnificent tree, a tropical almond tree called Autera’a in Polynesian. Next to the living room is the 20 square meters master bedroom, which has two beds (one Californian king size and one queen size) and its own shower room (toilet, shower, sink) and a huge dressing room. The second bedroom (14 sq meters) is also accessible from the large living room and has a king size bed and its own shower room (toilet, shower, sink). The third bedroom (15 sq meters) with its king size bed is totally at the back of the villa on the garden side and does not communicate with the interior of the villa. It is accessible only from the outside, so we do not recommend it to young children who need to be close to their parents. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a connected television. Very high-speed internet (fiber optic) is available free of charge to travelers as well as many equipment such as 1 paddle board, 1 kayak and 3 sets of mask and snorkels. The configuration of the rooms can comfortably accommodate 6 adults and 2 children, or 8 adults. The lagoon is directly accessible from the garden thanks to a private staircase. There is no beach, the shallow lagoon is at the foot of the stairs. A little further with bathing shoes you can go swimming and admire the fauna and flora that make up this incredible lagoon. The huge property is entirely fenced and secured by an automatic gate shared with the owners. Indeed, the owners also live in the heart of this private property in their villa on the road side and well set back from the Villa Coco Lagoon thus offering each one privacy and independence. Discreet and very friendly, you will only interact with them and their little dogs, including Coco, if the opportunity arises. The seaside is entirely dedicated to the tenants of the Villa Coco Lagoon. In the vicinity of the villa and within a 10-minute drive you will find many attractions and food outlets as well as supermarkets including the Tamanu shopping center which is 5 minutes away by car. In this geographical area and due to the fact that there is only one road that goes around the island, traffic can be quite heavy during the week and during school periods, especially between 5 and 8 am and between 4 and 6 pm, so be sure to make arrangements in case of a flight to or from the islands before or after your stay at Villa Coco Lagoon.
