Cottage Miti Reva is a house with wood and stone architecture built on the seafront, in a large garden with trees. It offers a magnificent view of the turquoise lagoon and is bordered by a beautiful white sand beach. The house has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, a mezzanine and a single bathroom (two sinks, a shower, a toilet). Sleeping arrangements: The main bedroom has a king size bed (180*200) and the secondary bedroom has a double bed (145*200). The two very comfortable rooms equipped with double beds do not have windows allowing to fully enjoy the nature when the shutters are opened to their maximum. The bedroom holds a queen bed on a memory-foam mattress; the living room next to it has a sofa bed that opens for two more, so a couple can have a room to sleep in and a room to sit in rather than one room doing both. A large bay window frames the lagoon. The kitchen is fully equipped: gas hob and extractor, microwave, coffee maker, rice cooker, blender. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Air conditioning throughout, and mosquito screens on the windows. Outside, a wooden deck with a table, and then the sand. The evening is what this fare is for. The jacuzzi sits on the beach a short walk away, heated and open to guests, and the sun goes down over the water in front of it. Eight sun loungers are set out along the beach, and the light on the reef at that hour is the reason people come back. Fare Taina and Fare Tiare are identical and adjacent. Being close to the forest, an insect finds its way in from time to time despite regular treatment. Please do not feed the animals. The Villa Coco Lagoon is located in a large private property in a quiet location on the seaside in Punaauia at pk18.3, just after the largest white sand beach PK18, Vaiava beach, on the west coast of the island of Tahiti. This charming vacation rental was completely renovated and updated in December 2022. It has kept the assets of the old Polynesian houses which express their character and the art of conviviality by the size of the living spaces and the presence of colorful local art deco. Indeed, many sculptures, tikis, tifaifais (patchwork of colored fabrics) and paintings adorn the villa and give it a singular and authentic Polynesian soul that will immerse you in the atmosphere of our islands. The main house: 125 m², three and a half times the size of a fare, and the only accommodation here with a pool of its own. Four bedrooms, four real beds, two king (2 m by 2 m) and two doubles (140 cm), so a group of eight sleeps behind four doors and nobody takes a sofa. Read that with two things in mind. There is one bathroom inside the house, with a second bathroom in the common area a few steps away, which suits one family group better than eight unrelated adults. And one of the four bedrooms is a separate building in the garden rather than a room off the corridor, which is either exactly what you want for teenagers or grandparents, or not what you want at all. There is a dining room, a room set up as a workspace, and a pool table. The kitchen is the reason to cook here. It has the only oven and the only dishwasher on the property, so this is where a long dinner for eight actually happens rather than a reheated one. The grocery store is directly across the road for the daily shop, and the pizza truck two minutes away delivers. On the night nobody wants to cook at all, Kathy will: international home cooking, ordered by 4pm, served at a table on the sand or brought up to the house. Snorkelling gear and free kayaks are provided. Check-in is from 2 pm, an hour later than the fare, because the house takes longer to turn around. We run the property ourselves, so there is always someone to ask. Breakfast in the morning, a briefing before you take a kayak out, a restaurant table booked, a tour or a taxi arranged, the ferry sorted. Beyond that we stay out of your way. If you would like to talk on the terrace in the evening we are glad to, and if you would rather not see anyone, that is just as easy. Shoes come off at the door. Smoking is outdoors only. We live surrounded by nature, so you will meet some of it. One island dog lives here with us. Roosters and chickens are not ours and do not live on the property, though you will hear them now and then, as you will anywhere on Moorea. The lizard is a sacred symbol of the island, and is what its name means, so we watch them rather than chase them away. Being close to the forest, an insect finds its way in from time to time despite regular treatment. Please do not feed the animals. Please note that, due to the nature of our property and its electrical infrastructure, charging electric cars, motorcycles, or bicycles on the premises is not permitted. Rent a car. It is the honest answer for Moorea: the beaches, the restaurants and the viewpoints are spread right around the island, and there is free parking for you inside the property. Rental desks are at the airport and beside the ferry terminal. A scooter costs less and works well if you are travelling light. If you would rather not drive, a tour operator can plan each day and collect you here. Tell us and we will put you in touch. Villa Manatea is a holiday house located on the East coast of Moorea island at just 5 min drive from the ferry docks. The gated neighborhood where it is located offers unsurpassed views on Tahiti main island, the lagoon and the over the water bungalows of the Sofitel resort. In addition of its quietness, this confidential neighborhood is secured and at just 2 min away from the most beautiful white sand beach of the island. The villa has been built on three levels. Each level being accessible only by stairs, the villa may not be appropriate to persons with reduced mobility or small children. Owners of the Villa Manatea pay lots of attention to the decoration and quality furniture. They particularly featured technology and state-of-the-art equipment. The overall architecture and ambiance is a mix of colorful fabrics, bright spaces, modern appliances and remote-controlled lights and shades. Exotic woods and local stones are also part of the architecture. A few steps down from the parking area lead you to the first level of the property, which features the main living spaces: the lounge, the kitchen, and the covered terrace offering a breathtaking 180° view of the lagoon.
