You are also less than a mile from shopping at Sunriver Village Mall, the links at Sunriver Meadows Golf Course, and about three miles from Fort Rock Park where you can have a picnic and a game of tennis or horseshoes. There’s fun in the water, too, at SHARC, the nearby aquatic center with swimming pools. This home comes with unlimited use of 6 SHARC Passes. Sunriver is flanked by the Deschutes River to the west. Throw a line in the river, ride the rapids, or take a leisurely kayak ride through the river’s meandering beauty. Cyclists, bring your bikes! There are 33 miles of paved bike path leading to both pastoral beauty and shopping and dining in the Village. Deschutes National Forest is less than 10 miles to the east. That, of course, means plenty of places to hike, rock climb, or just enjoy scenic vistas. Closer to home is the SHARC aquatic center with its outdoor and indoor pools, water slides, tot pool, lazy river, and year-round tubing park. Come winter, skiers will find world class skiing at Mt. Bachelor, about a half-hour to the north. There are also snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice skating, and bonfires in the snow! So make your next trip to Sunriver comfortable and memorable.
