The loft is named for the 60” tractor wheel mold from the early 1920’s that is showcased in the entryway of the living area. This top floor unit boasts 17’ ceilings in the living room and 10’ sliding windows that open up to the vibrant city views and bustling life below at the market. A spacious 1,215 square foot floor plan, this unit sleeps four guests in sumptuous king and queen beds featuring top of the line Italian linens. The luxury continues throughout with sleek, high-end decor, Italian leather furniture, designer light fixtures, and vintage architectural pieces and artwork.
Ponce City Market offers the perfect juxtaposition of modern living and history. The 80-year-old building was a southeast hub for Sears Roebuck & Co.; every flat includes original features such as the brick walls and concrete block that offer textural character. Freshly sealed-and-stained concrete floors show the patina of age and it is adjacent to the Belt Line, which serves as a pedestrian gateway to much more the city has to offer.
The entire building has preserved, handsome architectural details with sturdy fixtures and finishes that complement the existing structures. Details include Tribeca wood used for cabinetry, under-counter sinks, glass enclosed showers and strategically placed transoms to allow light flow.
By living in this community, you’ll be connected to the best neighborhoods, offices, retail, and cultural scenery in the city. Hop a lift to your own lofty flat with tall, steel-frame windows, Euro-style fittings, and treetop views. Take a yoga class in a refashioned rail shed, pedal or walk to nearby restaurants, cafes and shops. Close by are farmers markets, festivals, art shows and Ponce City Market’s own Skyline Park. Located on the rooftop, the park is a unique entertainment spot unlike any other; featuring a restaurant, bar, and carnival amusements for all ages.
