Marsh Cottage is centrally located in the Southern Living Inspired community of Habersham. The newly built home celebrates the best in low country living with tasteful coastal décor, beautiful finishes and an enormous screened in back porch. This 3 bedroom and 2.5 bath home provides an open floor plan to encourage family gatherings and entertaining but also has spacious bedrooms for quiet private time as well. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking all types of meals. If you prefer to cook outside, a charcoal grill with propane starter is available. As beautiful as the home is on the inside, the best part of the cottage is outside. You can enjoy sitting on the front porch swing with a glass of sweet tea, happy hour around the fire pit, dinner al fresco on the screen porch or take the bikes for a ride around the neighborhood and enjoy the gorgeous natural habitat of Habersham.
Marsh Cottage is across the street from the Habersham Park which has an exercise trail, 3 clay tennis courts, basketball court, playground, bocce ball court, and a community garden. Enjoy the short walk to the Habersham Marketplace which offers 4 restaurants, 2 bars that host musical entertainment and a variety of quaint shops. The neighborhood amenities include a community pool, boat ramp and picnic pavilion and dock. Also, there are several catch and release ponds for fisherman to catch both saltwater and fresh fish. The numerous porch swings situated around the neighborhood allow you to relax and enjoy the beautiful marsh and river views.
Habersham hosts several popular events such as Southern Living’s Bottles and Barrels event in May, its own fire work display on 4th of July, and the popular Harvest Festival in the autumn.
The cottage is located 10 minutes from historic downtown Beaufort and just 8 miles from Parris Island.
A 40 minute drive from Habersham takes you to the beautiful beaches of Huntington Island State Park and Hilton Head Island.
