This amazing top-floor condo with vaulted ceilings has wonderful views of Great North Mountain and is walking distance to Lake Laura, Pale Fire Brewing, Smiley’s ice cream and mini-golf, Burn Barrel tavern, and the Basye Community Store. Relax and take in the panoramic view from the living room, dining room and private balcony, and on clear nights enjoy an expanse of stars. The Eagle’s Nest condo is only 1.5 miles to Bryce Resort’s main lodge, golf course, ski/bike lifts, and restaurant & bar.
FEATURES & AMENITIES:
The Eagle’s Nest is a large two bedroom & loft, three-bathroom, top floor condo with only one flight of stairs up from parking lot level. Its spacious private deck off the living room feels like a tree house. This condo’s recent renovation combines modern amenities/features with comfy furnishings and tasteful rustic decor.
There is a new full kitchen, generous counter space, floating shelves, and a built-in wine fridge. The dining area seats six between the kitchen and living room. The open plan living area features a wood-burning fireplace, stylish furnishings, a large Smart TV mounted above the fireplace mantle, and a gorgeous view of the mountains. The main bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite full bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and easy access to the modern hallway full bathroom. Upstairs leads to a large loft with several cozy nooks for lounging, video gaming, working, or reading a book, and includes two new full-size beds and another full bathroom. Comfortably accommodates six.
Please review the listing photos carefully. This condo is welcoming, clean, and well maintained. It’s an affordable, comfortable, and fantastically located retreat for a wide range of guests.
The kitchen includes all the necessary cookware, tableware, appliances, and a Keurig coffee maker (k-cups provided). We supply the condo with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, four dishwasher tabs, three kitchen trash bags, one bath trash bag, one paper towel roll, two kitchen dish towels, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. Guests staying several nights may need to bring extra consumable supplies or purchase them at the Basye Community Store, a short walk away.
Firewood can be purchased at the Basye Community Store or the kiosk in our office parking lot (2565 Orkney Grade).
The condo has super-high-speed 400+mbps WiFi internet, which can handle pretty much anything you’d like to do online.

Pets are permitted for a $100 fee per pet, per stay (maximum two).
Propane or charcoal grills are not permitted in this community.
This is a Self-Check-In unit. You’ll receive check-in instructions seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property’s address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, and other important information.
Guests have unlimited access to the Property Manager pool at our check-in office (2565 Orkney Grade). See pictures of our pool in the unit listing. It’s open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday (and 12-5 on holiday weekend Sundays) between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Please note the Bryce Resort pool (Bryce Landing) is not open to the public and is reserved for Bryce Resort members only.
Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.

Bryce Resort offers numerous activities throughout the year, including snow skiing/boarding, snow tubing, golf, Lake Laura swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and kayaking, and a thrill-filled lift-accessed mountain bike park. Bryce Resort is also the perfect launch point for many other adventures in the northern Shenandoah Valley, including hiking, fishing, hot air ballooning, visiting wineries & breweries, exploring caverns, antiquing, enjoying the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival on summer Saturdays in nearby Orkney Springs, and so much more.
