Welcome to Fireside Chat! Nestled along the 16th hole of Bryce Resort’s stunning PGA golf course, this exquisite timber home offers breathtaking views in the heart of Bryce Resort. Experience “in your face” vistas of the course and majestic Great North Mountain, complemented by sunsets that are truly second to none. You’ll find yourself drawn to the wrap-around deck or the spacious Great Room, where you can unwind and watch the sky transform with vibrant colors.
This property elegantly marries modern and rustic aesthetics with an all-wood interior and a beautifully finished, modern kitchen. The open-concept kitchen has sleek black cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a massive island with stunning custom quartz countertops, basic cookware, tableware, a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind), and a Keurig (K-cups provided). The kitchen blends into the living space, making it perfect for entertaining and staying engaged with family and friends during your getaway. The dining table seats six with additional space for four at the kitchen island. Additionally, the main floor features two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bathroom that offers a stand-alone soaker tub as well as a full glass shower. The lower level also features two bedrooms and a second full bathroom just off of the Rec Room. Both bathrooms are clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed. A stacked Washer/Dryer is located in the laundry room on the lower level; please bring detergent if you plan to do laundry during your stay. Each level features a custom large authentic stone wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided seasonally October-March), providing the perfect focal point for warmth and ambiance on cool days.
The lower level offers ample space to lounge and play -- ideal for cozy movie nights with a huge wrap-around couch and a 65" Smart TV, or enjoy a fun game night with the card table and foosball table that overlook a cozy fire pit area overlooking the 16th fairway. Guests can log into their popular streaming apps via the Chalet’s high-speed WiFi internet, which has plenty of bandwidth for working, streaming, and gaming.
Conveniently located within a long stroll or short drive to resort amenities, you’ll have easy access to skiing, golf, tubing, mountain biking, tennis, swimming, dining, and more. This is the perfect retreat for both relaxation and adventure. This chalet is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, two kitchen dish towels, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.

This is a Self-Check-In property. You’ll receive check-in instructions seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property’s address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, and other important information.
This property has a propane gas grill on the main level deck and a fire pit just outside of the lower level game room. It DOES NOT have an outdoor hot tub.
Guests have unlimited access to the Property Manager pool at our check-in office (2565 Orkney Grade). Bryce Landing (Bryce Resort’s pool) is for Bryce Resort member use only and is not open to the public. See pictures of our pool in the unit listing. It’s open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.

Bryce Resort offers many activities and features throughout the year, including snow skiing/boarding, snow tubing, golf, Lake Laura swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and kayaking, and a thrill-filled lift-accessed mountain bike park. Please visit Bryce Resort’s website for more information, seasonality, and pricing. Unfortunately, we do not offer discounts.
Bryce Resort is also the perfect launch point for many other adventures in the northern Shenandoah Valley, including hiking, fishing, hot air ballooning, visiting wineries breweries, exploring caverns, antiquing, enjoying the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival on summer Saturdays in nearby Orkney Springs, and so much more.
