Located on more than an acre of land, Ascent at Bryce is a modern, tranquil, and private retreat that offers one of the area’s most spectacular, unimpeded mountain views of the Bryce Resort ski slopes and mountain valley year round from atop the front nine of the championship golf course. This 2044 sqft, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, pet-friendly home, is remodeled with modern upgrades. It’s idyllic setting and modern touches promise to provide you a serene yet fun-filled vacation you will never forget! Located within the Bryce Resort community, this home is about 1.2 miles from the Resort’s main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and 2.7 miles from the Basye Community Store, The Burn Barrel & RHouse restaurants, and Pale Fire Brewing Company.
FEATURES & AMENITIES
Upon entry, you’ll be greeted with a spacious, open layout featuring a dramatic two-story ceiling and windows looking out onto the large top deck with views of the mountains, the slopes, and the golf course. The wrap-around top level deck has a propane grill, outdoor seating for up to 6 and a bistro dining table, as well as a screened-in 6-person dining table with a remote controlled fan and lighting. The deck also showcases the gorgeous pink dogwoods in the Spring. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities including cooking utensils, pots and pans, crock pot, griddle, waffle maker, dinnerware, salt and pepper shakers, Keurig, traditional coffee maker, toaster oven, toaster, blender, microwave, oven/stove, refrigerator, freezer, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. The spacious dining room seats 6 at the counter height table. There is additional seating for 2-3 at the kitchen island bar. The spacious sunken living room includes a flat screen tv with surround sound, and a gas fireplace. The upstairs is completed with a half bath, as well as the master bedroom featuring a private bathroom (tub/shower combination), mountain views from the king-sized bed, soaring ceiling with ceiling fan, and flat screen tv. Downstairs you will find two additional bedrooms. The first features a queen bed. The second is very large and includes one full bed and another full bed bunked with a twin bed. All bedrooms have flat screen TVs. Downstairs you will also find a spacious rec room, which overlooks the lower-level deck and includes a flat screen tv and a queen sleeper sofa. Note: please DO NOT use the gas heater on the rec room wall; instead, please use the electric space heater if needed. The lower-level deck is equipped with comfortable seating for 6. There is a full bathroom (shower) and a laundry room including washer and dryer that is available for use downstairs too.
The home is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. An iron, ironing board, and hair dryers are provided, too. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.

This is a Self-Check-In unit. You’ll receive check-in instructions via email seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property’s address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, and other important information.
This property does NOT have a hot tub or fire pit.
Guests have complementary access to the Property Manager pool at our check-in office (2565 Orkney Grade). See pictures of our pool in the unit listing. It’s open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
While indoor smoking is not permitted, ash trays are provided on the decks. High speed wireless internet is provided. All TVs are smart TVs or have Roku devices. While no house phone is provided, you should experience no issues with cell reception at Ascent at Bryce.
Circular driveway parking can accommodate 4 vehicles, and additional grass parking for 3 vehicles can be utilized (please no parking on the mountain road). The property has a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink and also in the downstairs laundry room, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors. Please contact the host if you encounter any issues with any of the safety devices.
Located just below Ascent at Bryce, on Fairway Drive a quick ½ mile drive to Chalet High Activity Center offers a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness center for a nominal fee per person per day. An outdoor community pool is also available during warmer season.
Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.
The Property has security cameras located at the front door facing external to the home that are on and operating. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for security, property management, and liability reasons only. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited.
MOUNTAIN & VALLEY FUN:
Bryce Resort offers many activities and features throughout the year, including snow skiing/boarding, snow tubing, golf, Lake Laura swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and kayaking, and a thrill-filled lift-accessed mountain bike park. A season pass for the Bryce Resort Beach area of Lake Laura allows unlimited access for up to six people per day will be made available for all rentals during the open season, which is typically Memorial Day through Labor Day. Provision of this season pass is based upon continued offering by Bryce Resort. Please visit Bryce Resort’s website for more information, seasonality, and pricing of other amenities and activities.Unfortunately, we do not offer discounts.
Bryce Resort is also the perfect launch point for many other adventures in the northern Shenandoah Valley, including hiking, fishing, hot air ballooning, visiting wineries & breweries, exploring caverns, antiquing, enjoying the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival on summer Saturdays in nearby Orkney Springs, and so much more.
