About the area
This vibrant central neighborhood, just steps from the Vatican, captures the most authentic spirit of popular Roman life. A perfect example is the nearby Mercato Trionfale, where you can immerse yourself in a typical Roman morning.
Here, you'll find everything imaginable: fresh and dried fruits, rice and grains of all kinds, fresh fish and salted cod, cured meats, cheeses, and porchetta. But it doesn’t stop there—you’ll also discover haberdashery items, clothing, bags, shoes, toys, Christmas decorations, honey, jams, and exotic produce essential to international cuisines. In short, it’s a one-stop shopping experience.
The surrounding area is full of historic venues, traditional restaurants, and countless things to see and do—making it an ideal spot to enjoy both the charm of local life and the convenience of being close to Rome’s major attractions.
