Step out to the lower terrace at sundown. The fire pit catches and the cliff drops into open Caribbean a few feet beyond. Ocean Bliss sits at the southern tip of Punta Minitas, a contemporary statement villa elevated on its own coral promontory above the water. Six bedrooms sleep fourteen across multi-couple groups and multi-generation families, with an included cook handling the meals. Mornings start with a swim in the upper pool, the water still and the lawn bright between the house and the cliff. The glass wall pushes back and the living room runs straight out to the deck. Through the day the group rotates: a long lunch in the covered pavilion, a shade nap, a chapter or two on the lower deck where the cliff drops to the water. By the time dinner runs late the fire pit’s still going, and the group stays put until the sea is dark. Punta Minitas keeps the through traffic out, so the property stays quiet end to end. Minitas Beach is a short ride up the road for chairs and watersports, the Marina a few minutes past for an evening out, Altos de Chavón a longer drive when the group wants the cobblestone shops and a river dinner. RESORT FEE All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities.
