Villa Marnes has a modern and highly-functional kitchen and dining area, featuring a handsomely crafted table for enjoying family meals and plenty of food preparation space. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need to cater to yourself and your guests during your stay, including an oven and electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and dishwasher, along with plenty of cookware, crockery and utensils.
The first of the villa’s three bedrooms is found on the ground floor, a spacious and elegantly decorated twin bedroom perfect for the kids and featuring an en suite shower room. On the first floor, you’ll discover two spacious double bedrooms with large, comfy beds, wardrobes, and modern en suite shower facilities. Both bedrooms have access to a shared terrace - the ideal place for enjoying a morning cuppa while you take in more of those incredible sea views.
From the ground floor, guests have direct access from the living room to Villa Marnes’ covered and fully furnished terrace - a great ’chill out’ area ideal for enjoying pre-dinner drinks or curling up with a good book. The second part of the terrace serves as a beautiful outdoor dining and barbecue area so guests can partake in alfresco dining while enjoying their surroundings. The villa’s garden is complete with sun loungers and a luxurious private pool easily accessible by steps - ideal for cooling down on a hot day and an addition that is sure to be a hit with adults and kids alike!

Villa Marnes enjoys a prime location in the San Jaime area, close to San Bou beach. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars and shops are just a short walk away, making Villa Marnes a great choice of accommodation for those who have young children or aren’t looking to hire a car or use public transport during their stay.
Nearby Son Bou beach is one of the longest stretches of sand on the island and features elevated timber walkways over the sand dunes that provide easy access for pushchairs, prams and wheelchairs and which make it popular with visitors who have small children, and those with limited mobility. Even though the beach can get busy during the summer months and does have areas that naturists frequent, there’s enough space that it should be easy to find a quiet spot to set up for the day and enjoy the clear, shallow waters and soft sands. You’ll find plenty of family-friendly amenities here, such as lots of on-duty lifeguards, a first-aid post, a sun lounger and parasol hire, and a wide range of water sports activities that the whole family can enjoy.
You’ll find Club San Jaime near Son Bou beach, open from late morning until early evening, that features some exciting water slides that the kids (and the adults!) will enjoy.
If you head into the centre of Son Bou, you’ll find several good supermarkets, ideal for self-catering, and plenty of places to buy well-priced trinkets and souvenirs. There are also ATMs, a good taxi rank, and an excellent bus service available if you want to travel a little further afield to Santo Tomas, which is also accessible along the coastal path if you fancy the walk. Santo Tomas is a slightly quieter resort than Son Bou, and this beautiful village is popular with families with young children. The resort is a nature-lovers paradise that features gorgeous remote beaches, countryside walks and cycling tracks - ideal for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy all of the beauty and peace this island offers.
