Home details
Tucked into the terraced hillsides of the Valle d’Itria and embraced by olive groves and dry-stone walls, Villa Vitabella offers a beautifully understated escape just outside Ostuni. Built as a home first and foremost, it hums with authenticity, every curve, corner and material chosen to feel both grounded and timeless.
Inside, pale stone floors, soft textures and natural light set the tone, flowing through an open-plan living area, two bedrooms and a sunlit studio. The bedrooms and studio open directly onto the gardens and pool. There are three bathrooms in total, and a modern kitchen that invites long, slow meals prepared with local ingredients.
Step outside and the rhythm of the land takes over. The garden spills gently across one hectare, dotted with almond and fig trees, ancient trulli and fragrant Mediterranean planting. A saltwater swimming pool overlooks the valley, while pergolas and patios provide spaces for reading, dining and savouring the breeze.
With its panoramic rooftop terrace and sunrise-to-starlight ambience, Villa Vitabella is less a place to stay, and more a way to live. Whether you rise early for a swim, sip wine beneath the pergola or listen to the rustle of olive trees at dusk, this is a home that rewards stillness and invites simplicity.
