Enjoy a stylish experience is a secluded A-Frame located in the heart of Des Moines, just minutes from Historic Valley Junction, Downtown Des Moines and the Des Moines International Airport.
Great for groups both inside and out. Large windows let in plenty of natural light. Enjoy hardwood floors throughout the main level and carpet upstairs. An updated, modern kitchen provides the perfect heart of this home complete with all the essentials you’ll need.
The Master Bedroom is complete with a large en-suite tile shower and separate vanity as well as two spacious closets. Enjoy the king size memory foam Nest bed and comfy linens. This bedroom also includes a smart tv.
The two main level bedrooms are located down the hallway from the kitchen and adjacent to the main level full bath complete with a tile shower and tub. Each bedroom has a plush, queen size bed.
Outdoors you’ll enjoy an acre of wooden and natural grass area with abundant wildlife such as deer, turkey, fox, and lots of birds. The large, glass sided deck provides the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee or your evening beverages.
Please note indoor fireplace is not for guest use.
Just a short walk through the yard grants guests access to Water Works Park, one of America’s largest urban parks. We invite you to explore 1,500 acres of woodland at Water Works Park, jump on the Central Iowa bike trails (a connected network of 600+ paved bike trails) or enjoy a relaxing evening watching the wildlife from the patio.

PLEASE NOTE: Our listing description and house rules mention that you will be required to complete a Guest Rental Agreement, ID verification, and Security Hold (which is not a security deposit) in order to receive Arrival Instructions to the home. Important: When cancelling your reservation, the credit card processing fees of 3.9% + 30c will not be refunded.
If booking with a credit card that doesn’t match the guest name, you’ll be required to provide a written authorization, photo of the ID, selfie, and card showing the last 4 digits of the credit card holder, or reservation will be cancelled.
