This beautifully restored house is in a stunning position, with panoramic views over Lake Como. Set in a private garden, surrounded by nature, the house, which sleeps 7 people, makes a peaceful retreat for friends or family.
Spread over 3 floors, the house is full of light with contemporary decor. The ground floor has a spacious open-plan living/dining room with a fitted kitchen. The seating area is furnished with a contemporary sofa, armchairs and television. The dining area includes a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is next to the dining area and is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine. Two sets of French windows open from the seating and dining areas onto the charming garden.
The shaded garden has a small terrace and lawn which looks out over the lake. There is also a table and chairs for meals al fresco.

Bedroom 1: On the first floor, the light-filled master bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. French windows lead out onto a balcony with magnificent lake views.
Bedroom 2: This airy room has 2 single beds, a wardrobe and French windows out to a balcony shared with the master bedroom.
Bedroom 3: Tucked under the eaves, this charming bedroom has a double bed and a single bed.
Bathrooms
Bathroom 1: The tiled bathroom on the first floor is fitted with a full-size bath, plus a shower, basin, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 2: On the ground floor there is a WC and basin.

Note: For the last 700m the road to the house is narrow and steep, with 6 sharp bends for 250m, climbing up to the property.
There is also an independent apartment at the back of the house, with a separate entrance. This does not impact on the privacy of guests staying in the house.
Location
The apartment is in a quiet location, surrounded by nature, just 300m from the lake shore, as the crow flies. Although it is in unspoiled countryside it is close to many of the attractions around the lake. The charming town of Bellano (10 minutes) has many different shops and amenities, as well as a weekly market (Thursday mornings) which is the best place to pick up local ingredients. It has lovely beaches for lake swimming and many restaurants or bars to suit all budgets.
Colico (20 minutes) is a popular destination for sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing. Active visitors can also enjoy stunning hikes and mountain bike trails through the beautiful landscapes surrounding the lake. For children, there is also the Acquapark Dervio (15 minutes) which is an adventure playground on the water.
Varenna (20 minutes), with its Medieval castle and elegant villas, is a lovely place to spend the day. It is also a busy ferry port and the best option for guests who want to explore Lake Como and the towns of Bellaggio and Menaggio.
Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour 10-minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport is 1 hour and 20 minutes away.
