Located within a historic building in the heart of Rome, this is an exquisitely crafted third floor apartment with stunning views of several historic landmarks including the Piazza and Palazzo della Cancelleria, the Piazza del Teatro di Pompeo, Borromoni’s Dome of Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza, the Palazzo Farnese and Campo de’ Fiori. Seamlessly blending modern luxury with the charm of its ancient surroundings, this versatile apartment is perfect for couples and honeymooners who want to explore Rome on foot. Additionally, a wealth of restaurants, fashion boutiques, museums, galleries, as well as art studios and workshops are conveniently located nearby.
Artist’s Apartment (80 sqm) is located on the third floor and develops over one level. As the building is old and holds heritage significance, there is no lift available. While the apartment is suitable for adults and children age 14 and above, it is also accessible to the elderly with good mobility. However, it is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility.
The apartment comprises a living room furnished with a sofa, a dining table seating four people, and a well equipped kitchen decorated in the style of Mondrian. In the living area, we also have the single bedroom; our interior designer has created an ingenious system of sliding doors to keep the single bedroom separate from the rest of the living room without ruining the largeness of the room permanently. Therefore, when only 2 guests are staying, they can sleep in the master bedroom and enjoy the largeness of the whole living room. If there are 3 Guests instead (or if the 2 Guests want to sleep separately), we can close the sliding doors (and the curtain of the huge glass) and turn the sofa space into a single bedroom thanks to the bed hidden in the wall behind the sofa (which is a proper double bed with a king size mattress).
The second bedroom is one double bedroom featuring a king size bed, and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet. The bathroom boasts good water pressure, a rarity in Rome, and the water and electric systems have been recently renovated with brand-new pipes.
Outside, the building has a rooftop terrace, where guests can enjoy taking in some panoramic views of Rome (from the terrace, you can see you can see the one-of-a-kind Borromini’s Baroque dome, along with Palazzo della Cancelleria and Palazzo Farnese beyond Campo De’ Fiori). Please note that guests cannot access the terrace unattended.
