The moment you enter this exceptional apartment, you’ll be struck by the natural light that floods in through the high windows, as well as the carefully chosen modern furnishings that give this apartment a unique aesthetic, where contemporary design blends harmoniously with historic character in the form of wooden beams, original flooring and antique furniture or art.
In the living area, the contemporary dining area can also be used as a work desk and the sofa is convertible in a sofa-bed.
The serene primary bedroom offers a peaceful retreat thanks to its minimalist design, which continues upstairs: ascending the striking floating staircase you’ll find the loft bedroom, with a similar decor. This spectacular space features remote-controlled blinds for customizable natural light. While the bathroom downstairs is equipped with a shower, the one on the mezzanine comes with a bathtub.
As for the kitchen, it will be upgraded by January 31, 2025. At present, it has everything you need for basic meal preparation, from a modern gas stove, a full-size refrigerator, a Nespresso coffee maker, an electric kettle, a toaster and, of course, the necessary cookware and utensils. The addition of a washing machine is planned for January 2025.
Our guests will find air conditioning and a free Wi-Fi connection in all areas of the apartment. It is also equipped with a fire extinguisher in accordance with the local law.
Manara 29 is perfect for design enthusiasts who appreciate artistic details, and for artists themselves, from painters to writers looking for an inspiring place to work. It’s also ideal for couples or a small group of friends looking for an alternative to hotel stays. Please note, however, that this apartment has 72 steps to climb and an internal staircase to the loft level. While these elements add to its unique character, it may not be suitable for all guests. In particular, we cannot recommend Manara 29 to families with young children or to tourists with walking difficulties.
The location of the apartment puts you in the perfect position to explore the city or even just Trastevere. The charming San Cosimato food market is just around the corner, and the surrounding area offers a blend of historic charm and urban convenience, with easy access to shops, restaurants (including pescatarian and vegan), and public transportation to other areas of the city center.
