Nestled just outside the charming town of Blowing Rock, this exquisite 3-bedroom home, situated on over 100 acres, embraces the epitome of mountain living! With breathtaking panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Bailey’s Creek Lodge seamlessly combines contemporary comfort and tranquility. As you approach, you’ll immediately appreciate the sense of privacy it affords. Just inside the gate is a private creek, adding to the beautiful mountainscape. Tucked away in a serene forested setting, the home is your private retreat, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The living room is adorned with vaulted ceilings, a beautiful wood-burning fireplace, and a wall of windows that frame the stunning vistas. The gourmet kitchen features high-end finishes and fixtures throughout. Equipped with top-of-the line Thermador appliances, the kitchen provides an ideal space for culinary enthusiasts! Step outside and enjoy the inspiring views from the partially-covered patio complete with cozy furniture, a high top gas fire table, and a wood-burning fireplace. Just along the side of the home, you’ll find an outdoor kitchen equipped with a large gas grill, a high top table, and ample cooking and entertaining space. For cooler evenings, gather around the fire pit to enjoy the warmth and ambience of a crackling fire against the backdrop of the starlit sky.
The three well-appointed bedrooms offer comfort and relaxation. The master suite is located on the main level and is a true sanctuary, complete with its own en-suite bathroom with heated floors, and, of course, more of those magnificent mountain views. Upstairs to the right, find another spacious bedroom with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom. This room also offers its own deck access. Across the hall to the left of the stairs you’ll find the perfect bedroom for young children or teenagers, complete with 2 individual twin beds and a twin-over-queen bunk bed. This bedroom also has its own en-suite bathroom.
Bailey’s Creek Lodge is truly a long awaited retreat. Whether you’re enjoying the indoor comforts, taking in the stunning scenery, or entertaining outdoors, this property defines luxury mountain living .
Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Firewood for the indoor fireplace and the outdoor fire pit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- This property has 6 exterior security cameras 1 camera at the gate. One camera at the front door just pointed at the porch. One camera at the side door pointing towards the door this is the main entrance for guests. One camera on the garage pointed towards the side door of the garage. One camera on the garage pointed towards the driveway. One camera on the right corner of the house pointed towards the driveway and a shed. One camera by the glass doors leading to the grill/sitting area. No cameras monitor the interior of the home or common gathering areas.
- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of he deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
