However, bus services are not very frequent and stop around ten in the evening. Taxi services are also available, though they may not always be easily accessible in the area. From Como, it is easy to travel by train to Milan and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno). There are also public ferries departing from the Como pier in the city center, connecting other lakeside locations. The nearest airports are Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, and Orio al Serio in Bergamo. A shuttle service to and from the airports can be easily arranged at an additional cost.
