3 Laurel Lane is a fabulous, updated vacation home located in the popular South Forest Beach area on Hilton Head Island. This 4th row, 6 bedroom, 5.5 bath home is conveniently located near the beach path so you are just steps to the Atlantic Ocean! Many updates: new LVP flooring and paint throughout the house, renovated gourmet kitchen and primary bath on main floor, new mattresses, new furniture, new washer and dryer and new deck with a fenced in yard.
Take the steps up to the Charleston style porch that extends the length of the house. It has ceiling fans to keep you cool, while lounging on new sectional couch, or enjoying the 2 rocking chairs and a round table. You enter the home into a bright foyer with a high ceiling and beautiful new light hardwood floors. On the right is the first of two living areas which features a wall-mounted 65 inch Smart TV, a decorative fireplace and L shaped couch. This open living area is adjacent to the formal dining room that features a large table with seating for 10 and a beautiful, beaded chandelier.
Immediately off the dining room is the large, newly renovated kitchen with all new stainless-steel appliances, quartz counters, flat top stove, and an island with 3 counter height stools. Next to the open kitchen area is another dining area with a large beverage center, built-in desk and a table that seats 8. The second living area is located just off this small dining area and features a new comfortable sectional sofa and swivel chair for additional seating, as well as a wall-mounted 65 inch Smart TV. This is the perfect gathering area for large families and friends. There is a sliding glass door from this living area that opens to a new deck with a Nexgrill gas grill and a new outdoor table that seats 8. Steps down from the balcony will take you to the spa/pool area with a covered patio, outdoor shower, and a steppingstone path to the beach walk. Under the covered patio there is an
L-shaped couch, table and 2 chairs. There are 5 lounge chairs and 4 Adirondack chairs by the pool. Pool and spa could be heated for an additional fee.
The Palmetto bedroom is also located on the first floor to the left of the entrance. This is the primary bedroom with a king size bed, accent chair, and a 55" Smart TV. . There are sliding glass doors that lead to the outside deck. The en-suite bath has been fully renovated with gorgeous marble floors, a double vanity and walk-in shower. Additionally, the half bath is located on the first floor.
There are two primary bedrooms upstairs, the Nantucket Room and the Zen Room, both with king size beds, en-suite baths with walk-in showers and flat screen TVs. The next bedroom, the Mirabella Room, has a king size bed with a private hall bath and access to the second level balcony. The additional two bedrooms, the Lighthouse Room, and the Sandpiper Room, each have one twin bed over full bunks and share a full bath located just outside their doors. The bathroom has a single vanity and tub/shower combo. There is access to an outdoor deck with a table and 4 chairs from both of these rooms.
New king mattresses purchased in 2024, with all bedrooms having new Martha Stewart bedding. The new stackable front-loading washer and dryer are also located on the second floor. You will find an ample parking area and two large garages. On one side of the garage, you will find a ping pong table and refrigerator. There is also a Tiki style bar with 4 stools for a truly tropical oasis.

Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, is a delightful coastal getaway known for its natural beauty, outdoor activities, and significant cultural elements. The island boasts nearly 10-12 miles of immaculate beaches, offering plenty of opportunities for sunbathing, swimming, and beachcombing.
Golf enthusiasts will find Hilton Head Island to be a haven with over 24 championship golf courses designed by renowned architects such as Robert Trent Jones Sr., Pete Dye, and Jack Nicklaus. The island's mild climate allows for golfing throughout the year.
The island's dedication to environmental preservation is evident in its nature reserves. The Sea Pines Forest Preserve offers walking trails through wetlands and forests where wildlife like alligators and various bird species can be spotted. Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge is another excellent location for hiking and wildlife viewing.
While the island's European settlement history spans only about 250 years, it has a rich cultural heritage that can be discovered at the Coastal Discovery Museum or on a Gullah Heritage Trail Tour where visitors can learn about the West African influenced Gullah culture of the island's early settlers.
Apart from being a vacation spot, Hilton Head Island also has a resident population with local businesses, schools, churches among other establishments. For shopping and dining experiences though, Harbour Town in Sea Pines Resort or Shelter Cove Towne Centre are recommended spots featuring an array of shops, restaurants and entertainment options.
In conclusion, Hilton Head Island provides both relaxing and invigorating vacation experiences with its beautiful natural landscapes, recreational activities and historical attractions coupled with warm Southern hospitality making it an appealing destination for various types of travelers.
