Villa Paradise is a stylish, luxurious private villa for 8 people with direct access to the sea. From Villa del Mare, you’ll be able to enjoy wonderful views of the sea, the Sorrento peninsula and Vesuvius.
The villa has a total living area of about 180 square meters and features a private swimming pool with hydromassage function, direct access to the sea, a beautiful private terrace with sea views, a private garden, air conditioning, heating, free private parking and Wi-Fi.
Villa Paradise is located in Marina Grande, an old fishing village and one of the most romantic and evocative places in Sorrento. It has been chosen as the setting for many films and, despite the constant influx of tourists, has managed to retain its historical and traditional identity over time.
Despite being only about 700 m from Piazza Tasso (the centre of Sorrento), the place has a history of its own, as if it were a sort of town within a town. This is also seen in the strong sense of community among its residents, who feel they are inhabitants of Marina Grande rather than Sorrento.
About 50 m from the villa, you’ll find restaurants, bars, the public beach and a bus stop.
Villa Paradise was a private house and was built in 1950. In 2020, a meticulous and complete renovation transformed the house into a modern and unique villa for an unforgettable holiday in total relaxation. The villa consists of a single storey, and the outdoor area is about 1,000 square meters in size.
The main feature that makes this property stand out from any other in Sorrento is its exceptional location by the sea, which allows guests to dive into the blue waters of the Gulf of Sorrento straight from the terrace of the house.
The villa is an ideal place to relax after a busy day discovering the beauty of Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. You’ll have an unforgettable experience watching the sun set while sipping an excellent local wine in a rocking chair and listening to the waves.
You won’t need a car to stay at Villa Paradise, but if you do arrive by car, you’ll be able to park in the villa’s private parking area, which is big enough for two vehicles.
There are eight steps between the parking area and the entrance to the villa, though the villa also has a ramp for wheelchair access. Despite this, we don’t recommend the villa for wheelchair users.
THE PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL with hydromassage function (not heated) is carved into the bed rock and is 6 m long and 6 m wide. The pool area is equipped with parasols and deck chairs. From the pool, you’ll be able to admire beautiful views of the sea. The pool is available from 15th April to the end of October. You can reach the pool from the main terrace by going down 14 easy steps.
THE PRIVATE TERRACE is furnished with sun beds, chairs, parasols, chairs, deck chairs, rocking chairs and tables. From the terrace, you can dive straight into the crystal-clear sea and admire some unforgettable sunsets.
THE PRIVATE GARDEN is equipped with tables and chairs. There are several Mediterranean plants and lemon trees, and a gazebo with a dining table for eight people.

About the area
Sorrento, Italy, perched atop cliffs that separate the town from its bustling marinas, is a destination that epitomizes the idyllic Italian coastal experience. Known for its sweeping water views, historic charm, and vibrant citrus groves, Sorrento is a place where the beauty of the Amalfi Coast begins.
The town's historic core, with its narrow alleys and quaint piazzas, invites leisurely exploration. The Piazza Tasso, named after the poet Torquato Tasso, is the central hub of Sorrento life, lined with cafes and bustling with activity. The Chiesa di San Francesco, with its tranquil cloister, is a serene retreat and a popular venue for local events and weddings.
Sorrento's culinary offerings are a highlight, with an abundance of restaurants serving fresh seafood, authentic Neapolitan pizza, and the region's famous limoncello, a sweet lemon liqueur. The town's surrounding countryside is dotted with lemon and olive groves, and local farms often offer tours and tastings that provide a glimpse into the region's agricultural heritage.
For history enthusiasts, the Museo Correale di Terranova houses a collection of Neapolitan paintings, decorative arts, and archaeological finds. Meanwhile, the ancient ruins of the Roman town of Pompeii and the volcanic crater of Mount Vesuvius are just a short trip away, offering a profound look into Italy's past.
Sorrento also serves as a gateway to the rest of the Amalfi Coast, with easy access to the picturesque towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. The scenic drive along the coast is renowned for its breathtaking views and hairpin turns, while ferries from Sorrento's marinas provide a more relaxed route to explore the coastline and the nearby island of Capri.
For those looking to immerse themselves in nature, the nearby hiking trails, such as the Path of the Gods, offer panoramic vistas of the coastline and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The clear blue waters also beckon visitors to enjoy a variety of water sports, including sailing, swimming, and snorkeling.
Sorrento's blend of natural beauty, historical richness, and cultural vibrancy makes it a destination that appeals to romantics, adventurers, and culture seekers alike. Whether you're sipping a cappuccino in a piazza, exploring ancient ruins, or watching the sunset from a cliffside garden, Sorrento captures the essence of the Italian dolce vita.
