Guests are encouraged to linger on the expansive marble terrace or meander to the patio by the lake where they may catch sight of a swan gliding by or read a book or from the extensive collection. Wineries, farm markets, shops, and art galleries are nearby attractions. Away is a mere 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park, 12 minutes to the shopping village of Bloomfield and less than 10 minutes to restaurants, shops and the heritage Regent Theatre in the town of Picton. Pool Notes The pool is treated (Wednesday through Sunday tbc) and the pool may not be accessed for 4-8 hours. If it is raining, then the pool will be treated on the next non-raining day. Waterfront Enjoy gradual entry into the water. No drop off. It is shallow for a minimum 20 feet, then it gets slowly deeper. Water levels vary year to year. There are reed mats in place as you enter the water. Water shoes recommended. The hosts will stop by to tend to the vegetable garden occasionally. Lawn mowing may be scheduled during your stay. Please note we can host a maximum of 8 adults and 2 children. Up to two dogs for a flat rate of $250.
