THE NEIGHBORHOOD My home is situated on the iconic Claud Nobs avenue in Montreux, Switzerland, also known as the Swiss Riviera. Itā€™s located in a peaceful residential area less than 10 meters from the lake, and just a 3-minute walk or 1 bus stop away from the train station. The residence is popular among wealthy holiday-home owners who prefer the tranquility and privacy of their retreats to the busy hotels in the city. GETTING AROUND The area is very convenient with coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and transportation nearby. You can find tourist attractions like the Stravinski Convention Center, natural gardens by the Geneva Lake, and the Forum shopping area within walking distance. While luxury brands dominate the main avenue, the old town still has original shops and gourmet food options. The Place du MarchĆ© is a popular meeting spot with a famous market and coffee shops. You can find many seaside and traditional cuisine restaurants in various directions from there, such as La Rouvenaz for Italian food and Palais Orientale for Iranian Lebanese food. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE There are many nightlife options, including live music during the Jazz Festival and modern clubs like ā€˜Millesimeā€™ and ā€˜Funky Claud Nobsā€™.
