Serendipity is located in the charming and quaint Village of Cheshire, just one mile from downtown Black Mountain. You can walk down the street and dine at Beradu, Sake Sushi, or Black Bear Tavern.
This amazing home was previously selected as Home of the Month by the Raleigh News and Observer. This award is a collaborative effort between the paper and NC State University’s School of Design through its home environments design initiative. Blending softly into the hillside of this desirable Village of Cheshire community, the architect, Thomas Lawton, made use of native stones, cedar shingles, and native landscaping. Outdoor rooms were created with covered porches and a terrace area carved out of the hillside. Inside, a loft-like interior includes clean, modern lines and lots of windows.
