This secluded, mountain getaway in Fairview, NC is in the middle of everywhere: Downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate, Black Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock, and the airport are all less than 30 uncongested minutes away. This private, casually elegant home is tastefully decorated with local art and has very comfortable beds. The interior has 2 levels, each featuring a beautiful, large, stone fireplace. Split wood for the guest’s first fire is included and more is available on-site for a small fee. The main level has a spacious, open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and living areas, as well as a king master suite, a queen bedroom, and a 2nd full bath. This main level has large windows, and several French doors leading to both the screened porch and the wrap-around deck with fabulous views and a hot tub. There is also a pantry, a laundry room, and an outdoor grill all on one level! The fully-equipped kitchen includes place settings for 8+, pottery mugs galore, and lots of wine glasses. Everyone can eat together at the large table in the dining area, there are counter stools, and there is another dining table outside on the terrace. The lower level has another large, stone fireplace, a spacious seating area, a 2nd flat-screen TV, two more fabulous bedrooms (one queen, one king), and a full bath. All of these rooms have French doors opening to bright patios with more outdoor seating and more views. On either floor, you can surf with high-speed internet, stream your favorite shows, enjoy your music on the wireless speakers, or even play board games! The house is on 22 mountainside acres and has a large terraced yard with several stone patios, lots of seating, two fire pits, a corn hole game, and of course, a hammock. There is also a post and beam bunkhouse with a wood stove, ping pong table, and casual seating. Please Note: The house is accessed via a winding, well-maintained, mile-long gravel road. The road is not scary steep, but there is one short, fairly steep section, so AWD is strongly recommended. There is 1 RING camera that faces the driveway. Well-behaved dogs are allowed with these specific guidelines: (1) Dogs must be prevented from damaging/scratching the doors or furniture -- an XL crate is available 2). Rugged quilts are provided and must be used if dogs are on sofas or beds, and 3). Dog waste must be scooped from areas near the house. Also, there is a $100 per pet fee.
