The Neighborhood
This off-the-beaten-path cottage sits on a private wooded lot, with a babbling brook flowing through the length of the back of the property. Beyond the stream is a large area for a fire pit and a small hiking trail takes you to the top of a beautiful overlook. The grassy side yard feels like it goes on for miles and pops with colorful flowers in the summer. The local TART trail for long walks is less than a mile away. Empire Beach - on the shores of Lake Michigan - is a 30 minute drive from your door, as well as some of the most stunning hiking trails in the US. (See cover of Dec 2020 National Geographic.)

Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.
