Unwind at Hyams Beach - 4pm check out Sundays and Public Holidays, except Summer Season
Unwind in stylish comfort. This tastefully renovated and well-equipped home adjoining the Jervis Bay National Park has a large deck with stunning views. The location is superb – easy walking to beaches and the cafe while quiet and private.
Please note:
- Unwind has a steep driveway but is easily navigable if you take care.
- Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.

Where will I be?
Unwind at Hyams is located on the uphill side of Tulip Street, equidistant to Little Hyams and Chinamans beaches. This delightful property is a relaxed beach house with expansive views over Jervis Bay. The large deck has a commanding position allowing easy outdoor living in a private protected space. There is an immaculate garden with plenty of lawn for the kids. The property adjoins native bushland at the rear and kangaroos are often seen in the backyard in the early evening.
Why choose Unwind?
Unwind has sweeping views from a large deck. There is a beautiful, landscaped garden and the home is casual and comfortable. It has 3 double bedrooms, a well-equipped updated kitchen and 2 modern full bathrooms. It offers value for money and is a great option either for couples or families. There is a great selection of board games, puzzles and books available for your use.
How is the property laid out?
Unwind is accessed from sliding doors off the large deck. There is space for parking two cars under the deck. The door opens into open plan lounge / kitchen / dining area. The main bedroom is at the front of the house. The second bedroom is located off the lounge area and the third new large bedroom is in a quiet location at the back of the house.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This particular property does not offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it’s best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. Property Manager is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!
What about outdoors?
Unwind has a wonderful native garden with plenty of lawn. The large deck has views over the whole of the bay and to the bush at the rear of the property. The deck has a generous outdoor table with comfortable seating for eight and a large Weber Q gas barbecue.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Unwind is equipped with a gas heater in the main living area of the house. In addition, there are electric oil heaters. On warmer days, the house can be opened up to catch the breeze and there are pedestal fans available.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and bath towels are provided at Unwind. Though please remember to bring your favourite beach towels!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
Unwind has ample off street parking.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Unwind is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options!
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
