Kirriemuir is a luxurious and beautifully decorated retreat in Burradoo - ideal for 3 couples. Families may also stay of course, but due to the nature of this house, children under 10 are not permitted - sorry! The home is stylish, sumptuous and equipped with everything you could wish for - Nespresso machine, wine and other treats upon arrival. Beds are super comfortable, the garden is large and you will be very centrally located - so a perfect base for exploring the Southern Highlands!
Please note:
- This property is note suitable for children under 10. Families are of course welcome at Kirriemuir, but due to the nature of this house, children under 10 are not permitted - sorry! The open gas fireplace and the quality and value of furniture and other decorative items in this house are the reasons for this rule.
Where will I be?
Kirriemuir is within easy driving distance of Bowral town, Moss Vale, and all wineries, wedding venues and other local attractions. The local pony club grounds and the beautiful Burradoo Park are an easy walk from the house and highly recommended.

How is the property laid out?
Kirriemuir is laid out on one level, with a large living room at one end, kitchen and dining in the middle, and a bedroom wing with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is an en-suite. All bedrooms are good sized queen bedrooms and the master has a TV. The house also has numerous outdoor areas. The garage is a covered area for kids and the grounds are expansive with plenty of lawn areas.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property does have Wi-Fi, with the modem located in the pantry. A username and password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house Wi-Fi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.
What about outdoors?
Kirriemuir has extensive gardens and grounds, with multiple places to sit outdoors and entertain. It is in a quiet street adjacent to the Eridge Park velodrome and playing fields - perfect for a morning walk!
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Kirriemuir has hydronic heating throughout the house, with multiple heating panels in the living areas and one panel in each bedroom and each bathroom. As a result, the home is kept at a very comfortable, consistent and cozy temperature during cooler months! In summer there are two fans and the home can be opened up to let in fresh air or to catch any available breeze.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and bath towels are provided at Kirriemuir.
Parking for cars?
There is plenty of parking on the driveway for 2 - 3 cars. The garage hasconverted into a games area for kids, with table tennis table.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Security at Kirriemuir
External security cameras are located on the grounds. There are no internal cameras. The security cameras are used as needed to ensure that the property is used for agreed purposes by the agreed number of guests.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
