The Neighborhood

The home is situated in the small vacation town of Beech Mountain, NC. Its remote location and small-town charm offer a wonderful ambiance and a place to relax and refresh. The serene setting and mesmerizing natural surroundings provide plenty of attractions and places of interest for you to visit. Both Beech Mountain & Banner Elk offer skiing/snowboarding, snow tubing, eco-tourism, zip-lining, mountain biking, off-road ATVs, rafting, fly fishing, hiking, golf, fine dining, and shopping all at your fingertips. Although the Town of Beech Mountain does a great job clearing snow off of the main roads quickly in the winter months it is highly recommended to have 4WD or AWD to access Beech Mountain. Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.

  • 1. Smoking is NOT allowed (on the deck or in the house/garage).
  • 2. People other than those in the Guest's party designated in the reservation may not stay
  • overnight at the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of
  • Guest.
  • 3. This house is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or
  • illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not
  • responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this
  • reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising
  • from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
  • 4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
  • 5. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
  • 6. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens are included in the unit,
  • daily maid service is NOT included in the rental rate.
  • 7. Hot Tub: Maximum of 2 people in the hot tub at all times. When using the hot tubs,
  • remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. No
  • glass in or around the hot tub..
  • Early Check-in/Late Check-out is subject to availability with a $25/hour fee. Reach out to the host to inquire.
  • Very Important Things to Know!
  • 1. Parking: There is limited parking for no more than 4 cars. Street parking is not permitted.
  • 2. Quiet Hours After 10pm: Some people live full time all around. Please be courteous.
  • 3. Hot Tub: This hot tub is only suitable for 2 people, more than 2 will result in low water levels. If you overcrowd the hot tub we cannot guarantee that maintenance will be able to fix it during your stay. Any damage to the hot tub will result in fees beginning at $200.
  • 4. Trash: Do NOT leave trash outside. There are bears in the area & they will find leftover foodstuffs! Trash must be BAGGED and taken to the Bearicade and completely latched. *NOTE! If you fail to remove the trash, there will be a $50 charge, as the cleaning crew will have to remove your trash so the following renters do not have to deal with it.
  • • A Rental Agreement is required to be signed per North Carolina Chapter 42A Vacation Rental Act.
