Nestled in the traditional village of Kangatika, between the charming villages of Loggos and Fontana, Villa Skopsie is a luxurious five-bedroom retreat that promises an extraordinary Greek holiday. Just a short drive away from the enchanting harbour village of Loggos, this villa offers a unique blend of traditional charm and modern design, ensuring a stay of unparalleled comfort.
The villa is thoughtfully divided into two accommodations, with the main living spaces and four bedrooms gracing the first and second floors. The fifth bedroom resides on the ground floor, within a fully-equipped apartment that opens directly to the expansive roman-styled pool. From the two top floors, guests can soak in breath-taking sea views stretching towards Corfu in the north and the Greek mainland in the east, providing a canvas for mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets.
Entering through the main door, you step into a well-appointed kitchen diner that seamlessly unfolds into the living area. Large French windows adorn both spaces, maximizing the appreciation of the surrounding beauty. The middle floor hosts two bedrooms, one with a double bed and captivating views, while the other offers twin beds and a tranquil garden outlook. A shared shower room complements these bedrooms. Ascending the internal stairs unveils two more bedrooms, including a spacious double with an ensuite shower room and a twin with its own ensuite. The main bedroom features French windows leading to a terrace, inviting you to relish the spectacular views. There is air conditioning in all the bedrooms but because the property is high on a hill there is usually a pleasant breeze that can keep the living area at a pleasant temperature, so there is no air conditioning in this area.
The lower ground floor, though not of the same standard as the main property, serves as a useful addition, housing the fifth bedroom and a conveniently accessible kitchen from the pool area. There is an external stairway leading between the main property and the lower ground floor. Outside, the villa is surrounded by lush garden areas, perfect for basking in the Mediterranean sun or finding respite in the shade. A large swimming pool with a seated area in the shallow end and a table tennis on the middle level ensure endless entertainment.
Discover the allure of Villa Skopsie—where every corner reveals a new facet of Paxos’s natural beauty. From lemon and orange trees to cozy outdoor sitting areas, this villa invites you to unwind and create lasting memories. Immerse yourself in the charm of this Greek gem.

About the area
Paxi (or Paxos), the smallest of the Ionian Islands of Greece, is a hidden gem that offers an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This tranquil haven is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, crystal-clear waters, and charming villages, making it a perfect destination for those seeking both relaxation and adventure.
The island's coastline is dotted with picturesque pebble beaches and secluded coves that are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. One of the most famous spots is the Blue Caves, a series of sea caves that can be explored by boat, where the interplay of sunlight and water creates an ethereal blue glow.
Paxi is also home to enchanting olive groves and lush landscapes that beckon hikers and nature enthusiasts. The island's interior is crisscrossed with trails that lead through ancient olive trees, offering stunning views of the Ionian Sea and the chance to experience the island's serene natural environment.
The island's main villages, Gaios, Lakka, and Loggos, are brimming with character. Gaios, the capital, is a bustling port town with a Venetian flair, featuring a waterfront lined with colorful buildings, cafes, and restaurants. Visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and local specialties while taking in the views of the marina and the islet of Agios Nikolaos.
Cultural experiences abound in Paxi, with a number of small churches and museums that showcase the island's history and traditions. The Paxos Museum in Gaios, for instance, offers insights into the island's past through its collection of artifacts and exhibits.
For those looking to explore beyond Paxi, the nearby Antipaxos is a must-visit. This even smaller island is famous for its vineyards and two of the most beautiful sandy beaches in the Ionian Sea, Voutoumi and Vrika, which are accessible by a short boat trip.
The island's laid-back atmosphere is complemented by its warm and welcoming locals, who are proud to share their slice of paradise with visitors. With its combination of natural splendor, cultural richness, and peaceful ambiance, Paxi is a destination that promises a truly memorable and rejuvenating experience for travelers.
