The Wasa Penthouse is named after an early 17th century Swedish warship which sank on its maiden voyage. It is now preserved and has become one of Sweden’s most popular tourist attractions. Pronounced Vasa, the penthouse celebrates the links between Britain and Sweden where the apartment owners spend half the year in each country.

The Wasa Penthouse is located in the coastal town of Berwick-upon-Tweed at the most northerly tip of Northumberland. Just 3 miles from the Scottish Border, it boasts long stretching sandy shores and a stunning riverside. Take the time to unwind with a day at the beach or enjoy a walk by the river. Berwick-upon-Tweed has lots of events and festivities on offer too. There are annual festivals for film, music, food and drinks as well as entertainment throughout the year at the theatre and cinema. You’ll have your pick of restaurants, cafes and pubs as the town has an array of great places to choose from. There will be plenty of history for you to uncover as you can visit Berwick Barracks, The Main Guard and the town’s old courtroom. The town also has a number of inspiring art galleries on offer including The Granary Gallery, Berwick Museum and Art Gallery and Dockside Gallery.

Payment and Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House Rules
- SuitableForChildren,SuitableForInfants,PetsAllowed:petStayForFree,Property Manager are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
