Casa Manga is a pet-friendly, 4-bedroom pool villa in Karjat. This private villa in Karjat with a massive swimming pool is 10 minutes from ND Studio and less than
90 minutes from Mumbai
.
This home, featured by Conde Nast Traveller and So Delhi, gets its name from the 4 acres of organic mangoes grown on the estate. If you stay between May-August you can feast on fresh farm-to-table mango preparations.
There are 2 cottages, with 2 bedrooms each that flank the left and right corners of the pool. Each bedroom has a king-sized bed and a newly-renovated and expanded bathroom.
The common living room houses the dining area and the kitchen; with an outdoor gazebo on one side and a concrete bonfire (additional) seating on another side. Of the villas in Karjat with private pools, there are ample spaces in this one to bring our tagline ‘where families bond’ to life.
Challenge your gang to a game of water polo in the pool, roast marshmallows under the winter moon or bond over a variety of board games like Monopoly, Scrabble, and Pictureka indoors.
Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle are excited to announce an exciting collaboration! The legendary storytellers, who have given us some amazing characters like
Shambu & Suppandi, are here at Casa Manga to add their magic to your stay.
In the living room of this villa, lies a yellow aluminum chest or a Pitara containing wonderful stories from across India for you to enjoy reading during your stay here. Do note - These books are not for sale or to be taken home.
The on-site caretakers, housekeeping staff and home-chefs
will pamper you throughout your stay. We cannot recommend the authentic, homemade masala bhindi, lasooni aloo, mutton curry and chicken sukha enough.
The manicured lawn, pool deck area and impeccable service make this venue ideal for Dirty-Thirty birthday celebrations, family get-togethers, bachelorette parties and start-up team offsites.

About the area
Mumbai, the bustling metropolis on India's west coast, is a city of dreams and a melting pot of cultures, cuisines, and commerce. Known as the financial, commercial, and entertainment capital of India, Mumbai is a city that never sleeps, offering an exhilarating mix of experiences for every traveler.
The city's iconic Gateway of India, a colossal archway overlooking the Arabian Sea, is a starting point for many. It stands as a testament to Mumbai's colonial past and is a popular spot for tourists to capture the essence of the city's history and enjoy the sea breeze. From here, one can hop onto a ferry to the nearby Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with rock-cut temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
Mumbai's rich tapestry is also evident in its diverse neighborhoods. The historic district of South Mumbai is dotted with impressive colonial architecture, including the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage railway station that is an architectural marvel. The bustling bazaars of Chor Bazaar and Crawford Market are a treasure trove for shoppers looking for antiques, spices, and textiles.
The city's culinary scene is as diverse as its population, offering everything from street food delicacies like vada pav and pav bhaji to fine dining experiences in world-class restaurants. Mumbai's coastline also means that seafood is a staple, with dishes like Bombay duck and Konkani fish curry tantalizing the taste buds of food enthusiasts.
For those interested in the arts, Mumbai is home to a vibrant theater scene, with performances in multiple languages. The Kala Ghoda Arts Precinct is the cultural heart of the city, hosting galleries, museums, and the annual Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, which showcases a plethora of art forms.
Mumbai's film industry, Bollywood, is a world of its own, with film city tours offering a glimpse into the making of some of India's blockbuster movies. For a more serene experience, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park provides a green escape with its rich flora and fauna, ancient Buddhist caves, and the chance to spot leopards.
The city's nightlife is equally vibrant, with a range of bars, nightclubs, and live music venues that cater to every taste. Whether it's the historic charm of Colaba's cafes or the trendy spots in Bandra, Mumbai's energy is infectious.
In essence, Mumbai is a city that embraces its paradoxes, offering a blend of the traditional and the modern, the chaotic and the serene, the glamorous and the gritty. It's a city that demands to be experienced in all its complexity and vibrancy, promising memories that will last a lifetime.
