Fuengirola’s city center consists of a network of streets and squares parallel to the beaches that have made this city such a popular destination. You can easily walk around the downtown area and there are a wide variety of restaurants, bars, beaches and entertainment options around here.
Begin your tour of the city center at the Plaza de la Constitución. This is the main square in the area and is surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. Here is also the Iglesia Fuengirola Centro, a beautiful white church dating from the mid-20th century. Nearby is the Teatro Salón Varietés, which is the only theater in English in southern Spain. Come enjoy a show at night after having drinks at one of the bars in the area. There are all kinds of options for eating and drinking in the center of the city of Fuengirola.
