Neighbourhood Description
This is a wonderful part of downtown Athens that offers proximity to some of the most important landmarks of the world, as well as great options for dining or meeting with business partners and friends. The area is best explored on foot – everything you need, from bustling cafes and bars to quaint tavernas, modern eateries and chic shopping, is just around the corner. Plus, bus and metro connections are excellent, when you want to venture beyond the limits of the city center – every corner of which, is literally accessible by foot.
Kallimarmaron, the only stadium in the world made entirely from marble is less than a 1 km away. Acropolis, and the historical center are also some 20 minutes’ walk away. The posh Kolonaki area with its high-end boutiques and chic eateries, is about 1 Km from your doorstep, and Syntagma square at 1,5 km.
Next to Kallimarmaron, the leafy hill of Arditou, is an oasis of trees with plenty of beautiful paths for hiking and running. The National Garden of Athens, a great place to walk, run or just enjoy your coffee or drink amid luscious trees and flowers, is within easy reach too.
