In Puglia’s beautiful countryside, Masseria Lomito is the perfect retreat for those looking for a relaxing break. Overlooking the nearby olive grove, this gorgeous villa is only a short drive from the famous white town of Ostuni.
Masseria Lomito has been beautifully designed across two floors, combining thick stone walls and ceiling beams with modern features. The Masseria sleeps up to eight guests across three bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room. The living room is on the ground floor with a dining table, seating eight guests, and a fully equipped kitchen. The three ensuite bedrooms are located on the first floor.
Although the villa’s interiors are sure to enchant, you will likely spend most of your time in the stunning outdoor area, enjoying the sunny Italian climate. This outside space makes the most of the lovely scenery, with plenty of seating or lounging areas. A stone wall surrounds the property so you can enjoy a sunbathe on the sun loungers and a dip in the pool in privacy. Be sure to use the barbecue or stone oven to prepare a delicious meal, enjoyed alfresco on the outdoor dining table.
The nearest restaurants and supermarkets can be found in the nearby city of Ostuni, 5km away. It is known as ‘The White City’ due to its whitewashed buildings. There is plenty to see here, such as the 15th-century Gothic Cathedral. The city is like a labyrinth, with networks of alleyways and staircases, so it’s a beautiful place to simply walk around and discover hidden corners.
Many other Valle d’Itria towns are within an hour’s drive of the villa. Why not visit the charming Alberobello, 33km away, famous for its numerous trulli. Cisternino, Martina Franca and Locorotondo are beautiful towns also worth visiting. Fantastic sandy beaches are also less than a half-hour drive away. A charming sandy beach in Carovigno is Spiaggia Mezzaluna, 20km away.
