A sprawling property spread across 5 acres, as the name describes, The Mansion is a magnificent villa exuding grandeur and elegance. Surrounded by forests, hills and overlooking breathtaking sunsets, its colonial interiors and exteriors ooze an alluring charm. The Space: BEDROOMS - There are 5 bedrooms - 1 room on the ground floor, 3 rooms and 1 suite room on the first floor.  - AC, heater, TV, Wi-Fi, electric kettle, king-sized beds and attached bathrooms are offered in all rooms. - All rooms on the first floor have an attached balcony overlooking the garden.  BATHROOMS - There are 7 bathrooms in the villa - 5 attached, 2 common.  - All bathrooms have solar heating, heaters, towels and basic toiletries. - A separate dressing area is offered in all the attached bathrooms.  COMMON AREAS - There are 2 living rooms - 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the first floor part of the suite.  - The living room on the ground floor seats up to 8 people and is equipped with Wi-Fi, AC and a heater.  - The living room on the first floor is equipped with a sofa cum bed.   - The dining room is a part of the living room on the ground floor and offers comfortable seating for up to 18 people.  - There are 2 lush lawns, 816 sq. ft. and 1200 sq. ft. in size.  - They offer comfortable seating for up to 16 people and 30 people respectively.  - There is a sunroom.  - There is a library on the ground floor with a selection of books that offers seating for up to 8 people.  KITCHEN - Guests do not have access to the kitchen.  - It is equipped with a refrigerator, water purifier, crockery and cutlery.  FOOD - All meals can be provided in-house on an a la carte basis.  - The order for lunch and dinner will have to be placed 3 hours prior. Snacks can be ordered 30 minutes prior.  - Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.  GUEST ACCESS The guests have access to the entire villa, except the kitchen and the second floor. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.  INTERACTION WITH GUESTS The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay.  STAFF ACCOMMODATION We can provide accommodation for 2 drivers at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per person, per day, inclusive of meal charges. The staff will be accommodated on the premises, in the staff room that is equipped with a mini-fridge, heater and a TV. Commercial drivers are not allowed.  ACTIVITIES Within the property, guests can enjoy and play indoor games like cards and ludo. Guests can take a peaceful walk in the lawn and embrace its beauty. They can enjoy authentic local meals. They can also relish a scrumptious barbecue meal and request for a bonfire to be lit up. They can venture out and go on a 20-minute hike, and admire the news from atop. They can visit the heritage railway tracks located 100 metres away from the property. They can stroll around the sprawling farm. They can also relax in the sunroom or pick out a book to read from the library.  ADDITIONAL COSTS - Barbecue kit is available at an additional cost of Rs. 500 per use.  - Bonfire can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 700 per 3 hours.  - Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates. HOME TRUTHS While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later! - In case of a power outage, the 64KVA generator can support all the appliances for up to 24 hours. If the generator is running for more than 8 hours, an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per hour will be levied.  - The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property.  - Guests do not have access to the second floor.  - Stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time. - All mobile networks work fairly well here.  NEIGHBOURHOOD Kasauli, a cantonment town, is one of the most popular hill stations of Himachal Pradesh. It is often described as a hiker’s paradise, surrounded by lush greenery and majestic mountains. So, while you’re enjoying your peaceful stay at this property, here are a few nearby places and activities we recommend to make your stay even more memorable.  - Take a tour to Kasauli Brewery where you can explore the process of Whiskey production and taste a sample of distilled whiskey.  - Enjoy a panoramic view of nature from Monkey’s Point.  - Visit Shimla for a short day trip, and enjoy shopping at the Mall Road  - Visit Dagshai  Getting Around: - Distance from Chandigarh Airport - 55 km. - Distance from Kalka Railway Station - 25 km. - Distance from Kasauli Bus Stand - 10 km. - Distance from Kasauli Mall Road - 10 km. HOUSE RULES - Loud music is not allowed post 10 PM. - Alcohol consumption is allowed in designated areas.  - Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa only.  - All-male groups are not allowed.  - Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care. POLICIES - The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed. - The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking. - Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa. - All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. - All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay. - Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement. - Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted. - A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in.  - This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.  We look forward to hosting you soon.
