This child-friendly 2 storey home has a roomy open-plan living/kitchen/dining area, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a covered al fresco entertaining area with a barbecue. Along with the downstairs lounge area, there’s a kids’ lounge room upstairs with its own ‘smart’ Tv. The house itself is well located, an easy walk to the local shops and 10 minutes on foot to Curl Curl beach. Dee Why shops and supermarkets are just a 5 minute drive, with major shopping hub Warringah Mall 8 minutes away by car.
The Space:
Enter into an uber stylish foyer with stone-built walls and stairs that take you up an open-plan dining/kitchen/living space, featuring blonde polished floorboards throughout and reverse cycle air con. The dining area has a table that seats 6 people and flows through to a fully-equipped kitchen with stone bench tops, a breakfast bar and stools, dishwasher, bar fridge, ceramic cooktop, under-bench oven and a family sized fridge with a water dispenser. The living area has a comfy sofa, 2 armchairs, banquette, a large ‘smart’ TV, and study/work nook. Glass sliding doors lead out to the backyard, featuring a patio area with a louvered roof that can be closed or opened for more light. There’s also an outdoor table for 6 people, a barbecue and lounge area with a coffee table and fire pit, all overlooking a lawned backyard with a safety trampoline.
Back inside the house, the master bedroom is also on this ground-floor level and comes with a queen size bed, an occasional chair, a wall-mounted ‘smart’ TV and a walk-in wardrobe. The most stunning feature of the bedroom, however, is the huge picture window that takes up an entire wall and offers views out to Curl Curl Beach, with sheer curtains for privacy and block out curtains to control the light flow. The bedroom also has a roomy en suite bathroom with an open shower and separate floating egg-shaped bathtub, with vertical louver blinds that can be opened to showcase that expansive view of Curl Curl.
Carpeted stairs lead up to the 2nd storey where you’ll find 3 more child-friendly bedrooms, all carpeted, one with a single bed, another with a loft single bed accessible by ladder and the other with a double bed. The loft bedroom also doubles as a kids’ TV room with a sofa and ’smart’ TV, while the bathroom on this level comes with a frameless glass shower recess and large windows with views of Curl Curl.
A European style laundry on the ground floor has a front loader washing machine and separate dryer. The house has off-street parking for I car with street parking available.
The Neighborhood:
Situated 18 kilometres north-east of Sydney’s CBD (Downtown), Curl Curl is part of Sydney’s relaxed Northern Beaches region. The house is in a great location, just a few minutes stroll to the local shops and 10 minutes on foot to Curl Curl beach, a 1.2 kilometre stretch of sand dunes and surf, popular with sun lovers, surfers and bodyboarders. Ocean fishing is a popular pastime, while youngsters love to splash around in the child-friendly rock pool at the southern end of the beach. Grab a coffee from the ‘Gusto On the Beach’ café or enjoy the Curl Curl to Dee Why coastal walk, boasting spectacular views to Manly, Long Reef and beyond For a bigger selection of shops and supermarkets, Dee Why is only a 5 minute drive, with major shopping hub Warringah Mall only 8 minutes by car.
Getting Around:
The house has off-street parking in the driveway, with free street parking as well. If you prefer public transport, local buses can take you to Dee Why in 14 minutes and Waringah Mall in 23 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
* Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals by Property Manager and is not a hotel.
* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is he case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
