From there, a walk south along the beach will take you past the famous Lorne pier. A steep climb then leads to Teddy’s Lookout, providing magnificent views of the rugged coastline. Alternatively, walk to Erskine Falls through the lush Otways subtropical rain forest. The Lorne Golf club is also within walking distance of Carrageen. For those interested in exploring the Great Ocean Road more broadly, Carrageen offers a perfect base from which to explore this breathtaking coastline at your leisure.
