Amongst the lush, green cliff sides of Kaua’i’s north shore, Kai Naia Hale sits atop a valley bluff in the exclusive community of Ka’iulani of Princeville. This modern, spacious three bedroom, three and a half bath duplex boasts numerous floor to ceiling windows, taking full advantage of the views of the Anini Stream Valley and the Namahana Mountain Range. You’ll be inspired by not only the outpouring of aloha that this tight-knit community bestows upon its guests, but also by the myriad of astonishing vistas that the Princeville area has to offer.
The kitchen in Kai Naia Hale, with its high quality stainless steel appliances, including a Wolf gas range and sub-zero fridge, is one that chefs of any and all skill levels will enjoy cooking in. There’s ample counter space to prepare meals, including a center island that contains a wine chiller, and the windows in the adjacent living room offer a stunning view of the tall trees and the towering mountains. The living room, engulfed in natural light thanks to the expansive windows, offers both an oversized sectional positioned in front of a large flat screen TV and a wicker hanging chair to lounge in and enjoy the garden views. You are also treated to a similar view from the indoor dining area, which provides space for six people to sit down for a meal. The downstairs family room has sky-high ceilings, lots of comfortable seating, and a wet bar, making it a great place to gather and play games or simply enjoy each other’s company. Tall windows and a sliding glass door encompass an entire wall and open the room up to the outdoor lanai, where a gas grill, outdoor dining area, and the beautifully maintained gardens full of tropical plants and palm trees will tempt you to dine al fresco every night.
Every bedroom in the home has charming garden views, its own private en suite with a walk-in shower, and split air conditioning, ensuring every guest is comfortable and well-rested. You’ll fall in love with the sweeping views of the valley from the king-size bed of the primary suite, which also includes a flatscreen TV, desk space for when you need to work, a walk-in closet, and a spa-like ensuite that contains dual sinks, a deep soaking tub, and a large walk-in shower.
On days that you plan to stay close to home base, visit the terraced, heated community pool surrounded by tropical vegetation, or grab some bikes from the home’s two car garage, and explore the beautiful town of Princeville. When you want to venture out a little farther, drive a short five minutes to crescent-shaped Hanalei Bay, where mother nature shows off chiseled cliffs and colorful sunsets. If you are visiting during the summer months, Queen’s Bath, a salt-water pool surrounded by lava rocks, is a fun place to swim and look for marine life. Nearby Princeville Center is a great place to grab groceries, shop for souvenirs, or to discover Hawaiian Fusion cuisine at Tiki Iniki Restaurant and Bar.
