We are in the elegant and quiet district Prati, in via Luigi Settembrini, only a few meters from the renowned Piazza Mazzini. It is a residential area shielded from the chaos of the city center, in which notary and law firms are settled due to its vicinity to the court, as well as the offices for Italian public television RAI. Only a few meters separate you from the city atmosphere. In fact, crossing the viale delle Milizie at 5 minutes distance from our apartment, you will find the Metro stop Lepanto which allows you to easily reach all parts of the city center: for example the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and Termini station. With a pleasant stroll you can also reach the Vatican, St. Peter’s Square and Castel S. Angelo. In the surrounding area of one of the shopping streets par excellence, via Cola di Rienzo, you will find numerous Restaurants and Wineries where you can experience the taste of the Italian and international kitchens. Have a seat in one of the elegant bars near Piazza Mazzini and enjoy your breakfast or an “Aperitivo” (a drink and buffet during Happy Hour after work) amongst professional careerists and sophisticated ladies and gentlemen going shopping… it will give you sense of being immersed in the life of this quarter. In the streets around the apartment you will literally feel the tranquility and absolute safety of the area. You can relax after the long walks without the noise and confusion of the city center disturbing you, and live in absolute safety and security even at night: the atmosphere is familial, peaceful, and clean. A nice market is open daily from the early morning to 14.00 h (2 PM) every day. Here you can find not only food, hidden in between the market booths there are also antique books, clothes, flowers, furniture… drifting through the atmosphere of the quarter is absolutely worth it!
