Welcome To La Tienda
This spacious four bedroom beach house sits on a triple block and boasts one of the very few private tennis courts along the coast. Ocean views and an abundance of indoor and outdoor areas make La Tienda a perfect Lorne getaway. External decking surrounding three sides of the house provide fabulous outdoor entertaining areas overlooking the tennis court. Not far to the Lorne Golf Course and close to the beach La Tienda is perfect for your holiday with family or friends.
La Tienda has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large open plan living and kitchen area. The house can sleep up to nine guests plus one additional child. It is an older style beach house built in the 1970’s with some original features (including the retro bathrooms) but it’s a great space for families and the kitchen and downstairs bedrooms have all been recently refurbished. Fast free Wifi throughout.
The top floor has the main open plan living area with ocean views on one side and views across the Eucalyptus trees and tennis court on the other. The kitchen has an island bench, dishwasher, fridge, electric oven and a full suite of kitchen appliances and cooking equipment. The kitchen opens onto the spacious, light filled lounge with a large modular couch, a dining table with seating for eight and 44 inch smart TV which easily connects to your streaming services. The lounge also includes a split system air-conditioning unit and a Coonara wood fire which is fantastic in colder weather. We supply firewood for you to use in Winter.
The main living area opens onto the enormous main deck which wraps around three sides of the house. It has outdoor tables and chairs, a sun lounge and barbecue with stunning ocean views. The deck is fully enclosed making it safe for young children. The artificial grass tennis court surrounded by native gardens is ready for you to play on and there is also a basketball hoop. In the garden hanging from a gum tree you will find a tyre swing which our kids spend hours on. Keep an eye out for the occasional kangaroo, koala and lots of native birds including Kookaburras and King Parrots in the garden.
Also on the main floor is a separate toilet and bathroom next to the main living area as well as the master bedroom with a queen sized bed and another television.
Downstairs there is another bathroom and separate laundry as well as three more bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed, the second has two single beds and a desk if you need to get some work done and the third is a bunk room with three single beds and an additional trundle which is suitable for use by a child.
We have just installed a hot outdoor shower at the side of the house which is great for showering off sand when you come back from the beach and our favourite new addition.
The house also includes heating in every bedroom, a selection of books, DVDs and games plus a high chair and toys for small children. There is plenty of parking for up to four cars with a carport and a double driveway.
Strictly no parties, no pets.
