The beautiful beach curves 2.5km around the coast from Tomaree Head to Nelson Bay and offers calm bay waters perfect for swimming, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding (available for hire every day during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter). There are BBQ facilities and picnic tables along the beachside reserve, and less than 1km further along the foreshore, you can climb Mount Tomaree for spectacular views from the summit. Right on your doorstep you will find waterfront eateries, bars and shops, including the popular Country Club Hotel, and just a 5-minute drive brings you to the township of Nelson Bay. Payment and Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
