The ideal choice for an escape with family or friends this picture-perfect holiday escape is far from the hustle of city life, surrounded by unspoilt nature and perfectly set up for alfresco living with; a summer kitchen, external fireplace, a brick barbeque and plenty of outside seating.
Quietly located in the tiny village of Tajhte the beautifully presented property enjoys an incredible view of the Kozjansko hills from its extensive, private garden, terrace and sunny balcony. For the adventurous, there are three wooden tents so guests can enjoy glamping for a night and there is even a pond nearby to catch fresh marble trout.
Inside, the wood and stone-built house is arranged over three floors, the interior has a modern, chalet-style design with wood-panelled ceilings, stone flooring and exposed beams. The spacious, open-plan living room incorporates a comfortable TV area with a large sofa, a flat-screen HD digital TV and a country kitchen fitted with; a cooker hob, an oven, a coffee machine, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer and a large wooden dining table. In the stone cellar, there is an antique wooden press, a Finnish sauna and a pool table.

The area is part of the Posavje Wine Region and visitors can explore local wineries, including the Kmetija Kobal winery (a 22-minute drive away) to taste regional wines and learn about the winemaking traditions.
For spa days visitors can head to the Olimia Spa in Podčetrtek (a 28-minute drive), the Rimske toplice Spa (a 30-minute drive) or Rogaška Slatina Spa, (a 38-minute drive) where the thermal waters are known for their healing properties and the spa facilities include pools, saunas and therapeutic treatments.
There are also many castles in the surrounding area including the ruins of Planinski Grad, (a 5-minute drive or 35-minute walk away), Grad Podsreda (a 30-minute drive away) or Dvor Veliki Tabor a restored 16th-century hilltop castle with a museum (a 35-minute drive away). Other excursions include a visit to Slivniško Lake (a 20-minute drive) or the town of Rifnik where guests will find another castle and an archaeological park.
The closest international airports are Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) and Zagreb International Airport (ZAG) in Croatia both of which are approximately a one-hour and 25-minute drive away.
