Custom-designed and newly built in 2016, this modern farmhouse on Edisto Island provides gorgeous style and easy walking access to the beach only three blocks down the road.
This cottage sits on a spacious corner lot surrounded by native trees, in a central Edisto location right on the bike path. You’ll be close to the golf course, shopping, dining, and the beach right down Lybrand Street.
Inside, you’ll be greeted by all sorts of thoughtful touches - vaulted ceilings with exposed cathedral beams, wide-plank hardwood floors, French doors with transoms, and central AC with ceiling fans throughout. There’s an open-air kitchen with handmade cabinetry, Cambria quartz countertops, a vintage cast iron sink, and an adjoining pantry/laundry room. The outdoor spaces are every bit as special, including an expansive screened porch, a large deck for sunbathing, and a patio underneath the house with an enclosed outdoor shower (with hot water) and patio seating.
Other great features include a primary bedroom suite with custom closets and a private bath offering a tile shower, a hallway bath (to pair with the second bedroom) with a unique Singer sewing machine sink, and a fish-cleaning station in the garage.
