Welcome to Sandy Shores. We want you to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beautiful island life. Beautifully remodeled ground floor condo with a wrap-around porch and gorgeous new floors, paint, and furnishings. The living room has a breakfast bar, 50" LG TV, queen sleeper sofa and a beach/casual vibe to enjoy your getaway. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your meal time and packing your cooler for the day at the beach. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, 50" LG TV, en-suite bathroom and a huge closet to store your gear.
The Purple Parrot Perdido Key location has a pool that is rivaled by none other in the area! This magnificent 5,000 square foot oasis has nearly 150,000 gallons of water circulating over a continuous waterfall cave and surrounding a bridge-accessible island hot tub. The pool deck is dotted with lounge chairs and rather than having lunch in the condos you can gather as a family under one of the palm leaf-covered cabanas to enjoy lunch. Immediately off the pool deck is a sandy courtyard area with two volleyball nets and plenty of room for the kids to run around while mom or dad is snapping pictures for the Perdido Key vacation album. If you are among our guests traveling during the cooler months (or among those who get a little too much sun during the summer) know that having an indoor pool house is a valuable amenity. The Purple Parrot Resort’s indoor amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, large fitness center, showers, and saunas.
Certain parts of the year require a minimum number of nights to be booked online. If you are having difficulties booking your reservation, or do not find any available properties that meet your vacation criteria, please feel free to call our office and we will do our best to accommodate your vacationing needs.

About the area
Pensacola, Florida, is a delightful coastal city that presents a rich mix of history, culture, and natural beauty. Known as the "City of Five Flags," Pensacola has been under the rule of five different powers: Spain - which was the first European power to establish control in 1559, Britain, France, the Confederacy, and the United States.
History buffs will enjoy exploring Pensacola's well-preserved historic district. The Pensacola Historic Village showcases beautifully restored buildings from various periods in the 19th century - with many dating back to the late 1800s. These structures and museums provide a window into the city's past. A short distance away at the Pensacola Naval Air Station is another must-see attraction - The National Naval Aviation Museum. It boasts one of the world's largest collections of military aircraft and thrilling flight simulators.
The city's natural allure is just as captivating. While technically part of mainland Pensacola, Pensacola Beach is renowned for its immaculate white sands and crystal-clear waters making it perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. Adjacent to it lies Santa Rosa Island with its stunning coastal views at Gulf Islands National Seashore - a haven for bird watchers.
Cultural experiences are plentiful in Pensacola too. The city has an active arts scene with numerous galleries displaying local artists' works while performances ranging from Broadway shows to concerts are regularly held at Saenger Theatre.
Food enthusiasts will find much to savor in Pensacola's culinary scene which reflects its coastal location with an abundance of fresh seafood dishes including local specialties like Gulf shrimp and Apalachicola oysters. Additionally, Southern/Creole influences add another layer to its gastronomic offerings.
In summary, whether you're drawn by history or nature or culture or food or all four combined - Pensacola offers a diverse range of experiences that cater to all types of travelers. Its rich history, beautiful beaches, vibrant culture and delicious cuisine make it a destination truly worth exploring.
