Welcome to Penrith Hideaway!
Sleeping Accommodations: Penrith Hideaway has three bedrooms, but one additional private sleeping area.
Main Level: Master King, Queen Room
Upper Level: Queen Room, Room with two Twins
Walk to tennis courts - the perfect option to enjoy the beauty of nature as well as resort amenities. With stone fireplace, central AC and wonderful outdoor area, this homes sleeps up to eight with one king, one queen, two twins and another queen and includes access to fitness room plus indoor & outdoor tennis. (see below about extra charges for Resort access)
This spacious Penrith town home with views of Grandfather Mountain combines the exclusivity of a private villa with close proximity to tennis courts, and the Resort’s fitness center. Returning guests of this popular home often remark, "One is close enough yet far enough away." Additionally, the layout of the home -- with bedrooms at opposite ends -- allows guests to spread out, get comfortable, relax and unwind.
One enters the home into an inviting foyer with hardwood floors. Down the hallway is the spacious great room with vaulted wood ceilings, beautiful stone gas fireplace, and oversized sliding glass doors that lead to an expansive and open deck. The deck, equipped with all-weather rocking chairs, is the perfect place to unwind after a day spent in our glorious mountains. An accommodating dining area with wet bar and bay window comfortably seats parties of six to eight.
The kitchen with white-washed oak cabinetry, eat-in area, and bay window is accessible to the great room via a pass-through window.
The comfortable master bedroom with king bed has its own full ensuite bathroom. Sliding glass doors from the master bedroom also lead to the deck and outdoors.
One of the guest rooms is located at the end of a hallway on the main floor -- away from the living areas. This room is furnished with a queen bed. A full bath with tub is located down the hall. The laundry room is also located on the main floor.
The second guest room with two twin beds, and third guest room with a Queen bed are located on the upper level. These bedrooms share a bathroom with tub/shower.

-Please note-there are only 2 parking spots for this home
-This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
-Enjoy access to Yonahlossee Resort amenities for a small fee! Guests must pay a $10 per day per person base fee to use the pool, gym, and game room. If more than 3 people, the base fee will be $25 for club use. To access outdoor tennis and pickleball courts, the fee is an additional $10 per person and is $20 per person for indoor tennis and pickleball courts.
- This home is located in a neighborhood. All guests are to respect a 10pm quiet time.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

Nature lovers will find Boone an outdoor paradise. The surrounding mountains are laced with a variety of hiking trails that cater to all levels of hikers - from leisurely strolls to more strenuous climbs. Although not directly passing through Boone, the Blue Ridge Parkway - often dubbed as "America's Favorite Drive" - is in close proximity and provides breathtaking scenic views. These views become particularly spectacular during autumn when the leaves transform into vibrant hues.
History and culture enthusiasts have plenty to explore in Boone as well. The culinary scene in Boone mirrors its Southern heritage with numerous comfort food options but also caters to global palates with international cuisine offerings. Craft beer aficionados will appreciate several local breweries.
