This open-air rental is cooled by rainforest breezes and recycled cement floors (although there is air conditioning in the bedroom), and the large balcony provides space for relaxing. What’s nearby: You can also buy a day-use pass to access the beach at Ballena National Park six miles north, which offers wildlife, golden sandy beaches, islands, and coral reefs. Dining is easily accessible either north in Uvita or south in Ojochal, and other activities include snorkeling, kayaking, Catamaran cruises, and a variety of tours.
