Admiral’s Rest is a traditionally furnished ground floor living space set in town house located just off of the Broadstairs High Street, and part of the estate of Lord Thomas Cochrane, 10th Earl of Dundonald. A daring and adventurous Naval Flag Officer during the 18th Century who was dismissed from military service for fraud, only to be reinstated as an Admiral years later after helping and leading both Chile and Brazil to victory during their respective wars for independence.
Admiral’s Rest is a perfect location for any and all history buffs, as well as families looking for a beach retreat with heaps of character. Payment and Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
