In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 5, the maximum allowed occupancy is 12, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 4.
This Kiawah Island vacation rental, located in Vanderhorst Plantation, offers five bedrooms, a private saltwater pool and spa, and plenty of indoor/outdoor living space. The home is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac off Flyway and is about a 2-minute walk to the beach.
The main living space is ideal for large families with a comfortable couch, chaise lounge, plenty of chairs, TV, and access to the deck. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, vast cabinet space, and four barstools for seating around the island. The eat-in kitchen has a table and chairs that seat 4, a built-in bench that wraps around the large window, and a desk area. The dining room has a table and chairs that seat 10, which is perfect for family meals while on vacation.
On the first floor, there is a primary bedroom with a king bed, TV, access to the back deck and pool, and a private bathroom with a shower, luxurious tub, private toilet area, and a large walk-in closet. Also downstairs is another king bedroom with a TV, access to the screened porch, and a bathroom with shower/tub combo that can be accessed from the bedroom or the hallway. The large laundry space completes the downstairs.
Upstairs, you will find a king bedroom with its own private balcony and TV, a queen bedroom, and a bedroom with a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a full-over-full bunk bed. There is a 4K OLED TV with Apple TV in the “media area” of the bunk room. There are two hallway bathrooms also located upstairs.
The screened porch offers ample seating, a porch swing, and a lovely pool view. Outside the porch, you will find the large IPE deck with the pool and spa. The saltwater pool includes a sun shelf. Guests will also enjoy the convenience of the outdoor shower.
The home is equipped with Sonos throughout the house, washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guests do not have access to the garage.
Please note that this property has an exterior security camera that views the home’s front entrance. This camera serves to protect both the property owner and rental guests.
The dimensions of the pool are approximately 20 x 40. The pool cannot be heated.
The spa can be heated for an additional fee of $100 per day for the entire stay. Contact us directly to add spa heating to your reservation.
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!
During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.
Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.
